    what im saying is you might be able to just take a mini usb and shove it in there with out damaging the the factory plug it should be fairly secure.

Aux didnt work Edit: I messed with this and I thought i had a different wiring than what you listed here, but now looking at what I wrote below its the same and it is working can confirm.     youre right, and looking at the cable again the part where it exits the gray connector would put in the way of the other plug on the front hub. IDK I have an extenstion cable that im gonna screw with tonight but I also have the green grey on order (got it from jet.com for 20.00) so ill let you know more of what i find on thursday

    Maybe but looking at the pictures of the hub here I would think that grey would fit in the hub.     What I still don't understand is how use media doesnt work but carplay and Android auto do. Doesn't make any sense. I have spare cables here so I may venture down this road too.

    Yes. I also have this issue and have the two usb plug up front. I havnt had the time to dig into it further.

    I know this sounds really silly but there was another post with somebody with a similar problem can you go from the HMI to the USB under the seat from that USB under the seat to the front then from front to internal

    also a thought is to come from the floor usb to the front usb, then out of the front usb to the interior usb. Its either a hub problem or a cable problem, again it works stock.

    works in the stock trucks with out issue. Which generally have glove usb, front, and inside.

    Aux work? Every thing I have seen with this problem suggest that it's a bad hub.

    there was some one here that did some weird cable splicing. and got everything working, I dont remeber if he had a glove usb. One thought I had was why are we using the front usb pass through. Why cant we use the usb that was under the seat in the first place. Thoughts? How many usb outputs does the hmi have two or three?
