    Possible however, that port will charge my phone with out issue and the usbstick i put in there lights up. I havnt tested the aux jack in there either. There should be a way to wire the glove and the external and internal usb. At least one user here had a bad usb port up front, but with his scnario he had nothing working from the rear.

    What doesn't make sense to me on that. Is my inside and outside pass Android auto and carplay fine. The inside one however does not pass USB media.

    can some one any one see if they can read media from a usb stick from the ports inside the console. I can get apple car and android auto on all ports front and inside, but can only read media from the front.

    Im not sure whats up with my post above lol. Anyway can some one do a test for me. I did the swap and android auto/carplay works from all usb ports. However reading media (such as music) only works off the glove box usb and the front usb. It does not work off the internal usb. Can some one else try it and see if it works for them.

    has any one had any problem reading media from the usb ports inside the console. Apple carplay and android auto work fine and it charges but it wont read my usb stick. The front ones work fine.

    Its there. Thats the console I ordered however @b-garage got the 2018 version and it was less money came with the 10 rib mat and i suspect the new 2018 wireless module. look at his parts list.

    I counted 10 ribs on the mat is that correct? Have you had a chance to verify if that was indeed the new wireless charger.

    he will need to take it apart to verify for sure! Pgamboa has a tutorial on it but basically it just pops off. its kind of a bitch to get off though. its eaiser if you have trim tools.

    Very nice. Open the lid and see what wireless charger came with it also take note of the part number on the Mat itsself!

    Phil is a good dude. I've ordered the pnp harnsess for my center console, the dyi wires for my mirrors, the dyi for the auto dim( that is a giant pain in the ass to run btw) and he sold me the connectors so I could dyi my chargerger to the 2018 model. All had great instructions I've even hit him up for some alternate questions he's always responded shipped fast. Oh and he bought some mirrors I was selling! Sent from my SM-G965U using Tapatalk

    its the shipping back that gets you. I could get that console shipped to me cheap but if its wrong...thenI pay to ship it back. For what its worth my console came freight on a pallet via fed ex and it was 30.00 to ship. It would certainly cost more than that to ship it back. This console has a cheaper price than the one I ordered of basically 30.00. Though mine came with a 2017 wireless module. If this thing is complete, and comes with a 2018 module that would be really interesting and is a decent deal.

What is also intresting is it looks like the back plate there has connections for rear entertainment, and it would be intresting what to the part number of the charger is. I requested info on those parts. Just fyi if those are rear entertaiment controlls, usb port or something @pgamboa cable may not pick them up
