  1. Is it safe to assume the new Tahoe /Suburban that is rolling out have these same seats? If so maybe more complaints from those folks will get a resolution faster to movement issues. Trackermi -- This movement issue is in nephew's truck. I would guess he is same height /weight as you.
  2. Cmillerjr could you possibly find out what the TSB number is on this new support bar fix? bogeypro can you post your TSB number as well when you get your truck back from dealer? My nephew has a 2014 chevy and his seat is driving him crazy. He has already had the frame replaced but movement is back. His seat is the heated/cooled/vibrating accident avoidance style.
  3. Cmillerjr is any update to this possible seat fix regarding that support bar ?
  4. How about more info on this support bar added to new seat frame. Part number, TSB number. CMILLERJR, you might have found the holy grail of seat movement fix.
  5. I haven't had any issues since dealer replaced the ground cable. My range has been plugged in just about the whole time. I must admit I cross my fingers when I go to start . My truck is in my unheated garage and started every time this winter even after sitting for 3/4 days. Oh and it was cold this year in Chicago . Your truck did the same thing as mine but I didn't have a range at that time. The second time I had trouble the truck started but every light on dash was on; this was with the range in. I would look into that neg battery cable. It's not that its loose but it is out of spec. as far as resistance. That's what my service ticket said. do you have an update on this ?
  6. yep, color not the best choice . like the fact it will come with a little longer bed now. did you see the ext cab chevy? other then a place to keep tools safe and dry that space was useless. I fell into that group of people that would of been happy with a crew cab Colorado when I bought my 07. GM priced them way to close to full size ext cab. Plus mpg about same for city driving and the bed to short. Speaking of short beds. I was at menards the other day a saw a f150 ext cab short box truck. Other then ordering for fitting in a garage why. I think the hood was longer than the bed
  7. I had a 1997 Silverado that did not have any third door. I think maybe the early run ones didn't have option?. I just googled the 97 just to make sure because I just couldn't remember . Sure enough the pictures don't lie. I worked with a guy that had a truck just like mine but his was a 1998 1/2 . This half year model is when the Silverado started as the name of the model not a trim level. His tailgate didn't have the large chrome band across it, just Silverado at bottom corner. I sure miss that 1997 truck. If I could put that body on my 07 (nnbs) ,with four doors of course I would be happy. The size of these trucks have gotten out of hand. While at the Chicago auto show I looked at the new Colorado/ Canyon and the crewcab-longbed was pretty close to size of my old 97. By the way that new Canyon is sharp looking .
  8. this summer I went to start my truck in the morning and got nothing. Every light on dash on, cd's turning around, door locks going crazy. After work put charger on it and after a while it started as normal, no lights on dash. I went to auto zone to have battery checked out (their battery) everything ok. All summer I kept jump box in truck just in case. Fast forward to Nov 27 . I go to start truck , but before that I put in the range technology v4 disabler that I have been using and again all lights on dash come on but it starts this time. I didn't have the range when this happened in summer. Called dealer and he said it sounded like a battery problem with all the lights on dash going on. Again off to auto zone, this time after I restarted truck only check engine stayed on. Battery was checked out as good but I had a bunch of codes. Next week off to dealer (gm extend war) where they found that the neg battery cable was "355-ma out of specs". Service writer said one of the techs son had the same thing on a Tahoe he has and they think this was the fix, as it has not happened again. There is a post on here (believe the range tech. thread) where somebody had same problem as me and using the range. This person went to dealer but never came back to say what happened. I hope the range tech v4 disabler is not the problem because man with that thing in truck runs way better.
