  1. IKR... the light comes on 100% of the time when I engage the braking park when I get home. It's the 2% of the time when I start the truck, there is no idiot light or warning bell when I back down my driveway. my gf just laughs at me the times I told her I did this since it's never an issue my vw or jeep which are all manuals. LOL
  2. And mine still does afterwards. Next time I am in for the oil change, I will have them check but I don't think they will find anything wrong. I am down to checking the pedal before moving instead of trusting the idiot light. I have a sloping drive way so I use mine every day. I don't think the parking brake fully engages now for how many times I drove with it on. How do I adjust the parking brake cable? I can push the pedal all the way down and doesn't feel like it's fully engage since I can feel the truck roll a tiny bit. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  3. Here are the pics...
  4. Here's mine after the initial test drive around the neighbor... can't complain, nothing fall off... LOL
  5. So after taking it to the alignment shop yesterday, it looks like now the tire/fender clearance is within a 1/2 inch difference between the driver and passenger side. But it's hard to believe that caster can make up a inch difference. Oh well, she drives straight and smooth.
  6. I'll get some pics tonight if it doesn't rain here. With the -24 offsets, I definitely like how much they stick out in the front - IMHO just enough. I have not decided if I'm going to add spacers to the rear to match the front track width.
  7. I'm in Chesapeake. I use to roll in Stafford years ago to hang with my buddy. I'm picking up my truck today from the alignment shop and see if it was an alignment issue. BTW, here's a pic of my Silverado after the initial test drive around the neighborhood. Mcgaughy 7-9" SS lift kit (about 8" overall in the front) General Grabbers 35x12.50R20 Method Racing Wheels - Standard 20x10 -24 offset
  8. I just talked to McGaughy... I need to get them some pics of what I'm talking about. I'll post them up here too. BTW, the rear axle lines up fine with the rear wheel wells. I have not done an IFS lift on a Chevy/GMC, but I have done numerous on Toyotas and it get me and my buddies stumped.
  9. I just installed McGaughy 7" SS kit on my truck this past weekend and noticed that the driver side tire is further back in the wheel well while the passenger side tire appears to fit the wheel well perfectly. I checked the drop brackets before installing and they didn't appear bent or anything. from the rear corner edge of the fender to the further edge of the tire: driver side: ~1" passenger side: ~2.5" By logic, that means the wheelbase from the driver side to the passenger side changed 1.5". Maybe that's how my Silverado came from the factory but never noticed it stock. Any ideas? I will be calling McGaughy today and see what they say.
  10. I am assuming you cv angles are flat? Rig definitely looks good. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
  11. thanks for posting the pics...
  12. what brand is that? i can see my 4 legged kids tearing up my rear seats!
  13. Add me to the list. Mine is days away from being delivered... technically, it's only 3 hours from me at the local distribution center. it's killing me that it's so close but i can't get my hands on her yet. hopefully by this weekend I'll be cruising down the highway with the 6.2.
