    After properly inflating my tires (new one was at 20, rest were high 20's), the replaced tire seems to be helping quite a bit. It isnt perfect but it is much, much better. It is the Goodyears, gdad is spot on. Get the Michelins, I am holding out until they replace mine. I still get the weird little shimmies at odd speeds but nothing I cant live with compared to what I experienced. I finally sense some hope.

    I just got of the phone with my GM liasion person who deals with the BBB. I just got back my truck that once again "had a tire that was road force balanced and way off." The tire was replaced and the truck still vibrates at highway speeds. These are the Goodyear tires. It is better but it is still very much there, oh and another tire was out of balance again. That would be four tires that were balanced 6 times in under 5,000 miles. She stated that "these trucks just do this" and that they will not help me any further, i.e. no buy back. Class act company.

    Relax dude? I glad you think you know me. I have been nothing but pleasant with my dealership as the problem isnt their fault, they just sell them. I have been in 7 times now, including tire balancing and replacement along with a new driveshaft that did nothing. So no, I wont relax dude.

    I go in for a new drive shaft on Monday, not real hopeful. The more I drive it, the more I think it has to do with transmission gearing and RPM's vs V4/V8. It reminds me of driving a manual and starting out in too high of a gear. I went on a icefishing trip with friends last weekend and was utterly embarassing on the drive out with the amount of shaking. It sat for a day and on the way home the first half I didnt notice much of anything until I went up a hill and then it all went to shit again. I dont know, I'm so tired of it.

    Well add me to the list of people who are frustrated with this rediculous problem. I have brought my truck in 4 times now, I have the same GY's that it came with and enough lead weight to band ducks for the next 1,000 years. I was told yesterday(after they had it for a week) that they are replacing the driveshaft. Somehow I am not convinced this will work but oh well. At least they have offered to by it back already. I will miss her. R.I.P.
