Hello, I'm selling a pair of DL8 mirrors from a 2017 Silverado with 800 miles on it for $200. These are power/heated mirrors and in excellent condition. There are no scratches and come with Onyx gloss black mirror caps. If interested, please let me know. Thanks you Keith
Hi. Sorry been so busy. Yes, on my 2014 1500 the connector on cab side has all the pins. Just door side connector was missing only 4 pins that cab side had. I found some pins at work that are exactly like the door side so I put them in the missing spots then spliced the correct signal and puddle into mirror. Pin 41 is signal and pin 3 is puddle but only 2 wires that I have no idea where they go are pin 13 and 26. Only puddle light still doesn't work but that must be due to bcm needing programmed. So to get puddle to work I followed the Puddle light wire into bcm. Grey connector#7 pin 8 and removed the the wire from connector and then spiced it into the courtesy light wire on junction box. Now puddle lights come on whenever I open door or unlock door. Now power fold doesn't work yet but I'm working on it. The wires are already there from what I see but doesn't work because I didn't have the switch. But I ordered the switch and it fits perfectly in the bezel but the connector is different so my door harness won't plug into it. So, this is where I need the Pin lay out for switch so I could match the wires to it. I modified the connector to plug in the switch but it's a no go cause it keeps blowing fuse when I do that.
Hi... Does anyone have the DL3 mirror connector pin layout diagram? I have the cab side electrical diagram from the GM upfitter website but need the door/mirror side. I found that all the wires are there on the cab side. Only 4 were missing from the door side connector. Blue/white(Singnal) Gray/green(Puddle) White/Violet, Blue/Violet. Now I connected the signal and it worked but the puddle light doesnt work. I know on the mirror connector that the puddle light wire is orange/white and black/white(ground?) but will not function. Not sure where the white/violet and blue/violet wire go too yet and if that has anything to do with the puddle light. If anyone could help me with this would be great. I know the power folding wires are already in my door harness but i dont have a switch yet..
Look in between the door. Pull the boot off. Not sure about the glass but i know the connector in the door(wireharness) do not have the needed wires(at leastt on mine) But they are all there on the cab side where it connects. Blue/white for blinker and gray/white for puddle lights. I ran wires from there to the mirror and the signals work but puddle lights dont. Not sure why. But the wierd thing is my door side mirror connector has the wiring for Power folding there.
Hey.. No They dont have the wiring in there, atleast mine dont. I have a 2014 Silverado LT almost fully loaded. I bought the DL3 Mirrors for this(Mirrors part #'s 22820384, 22820385) and they dont work. They wiring isnt on the door side so Im looking for some wiring diagrams for our 2014 truck to see if the wiring is on the cab side still.
Well I tried to install the DL3 mirror, but the signal and puddle dont work. The weird thing is that the wiring is there for power folding on the connecter but doesnt work casue I dont have the switch. Ims gonna get the switch I mentioned above and try it.. Does anyone know if I could just get a door wire harness to get things to work or the wires would be missing from the cab side also? Anybody have the wiring diagrams for the door and cab side where the wires go into the truck? I see that the cabin side connector the door connects to has more wires going into it then what my door conn. has. So it could be possible the wiring is there. If anyone could help, it would be very appreciated.
Now I called the dealer and they gave me part number for just the power folding mirror switch GM #22754411. He said that's how they sell them. Each switch is separate. It's about $50 to $70 for the switch. Looking at the switch it looks like I can put switch in without bezel, fits in same spot. It just adds a middle button. Now, does anyone know if it will need to be programmed for it to work. Thanks
Hi. I'm doing a dl8 to dl3 mirror swap on my 2014 silverado and was wondering if anyone knew the part numbers for the driver master door switches with power folding buttons and the passenger side. I can't find these numbers. Thanks in advance.
Well I complained to the GM customer rep on an email survey and they called me back with a claim number. The dealer called me back and told me to bring my truck back so they can look at it and gave me a loaner yesterday. So today they called me and said they got an approval from GM to replace my radio and hvac bezel etc. So yay! Thanks everyone for your help in here. I guess complaining and keeping at it helps....Thanks!
Well they wouldn't fix mine so I went ahead and did it my self. I got the radio working but still can't seem to get the hvac one working. Soldered the 2 resistors and still don't work. Did anyone else fix there own and have pics of it or anyone with a good one have pics of the hvac controller with the correct resistors in place.
