@dadof4 - With this looking like an issue with Cadillac, GMC, and Chevy, what the heck are my options for a large SUV? We have 4 kids, and my wife WILL NOT drive a minivan. Are my only options to go used? If so, how far back do I need to go to find something without this vibration issue? We are in a similar issue as you trying to find the large SUV for myself and family, since the big mess with GM. After looking for for the last nine months in complete frustration we are considering either 2014 Yukon/suburban (no issues) or 2014/15 FORD Expedition EL (augh) for the room. There is nothing else out there smaller that has the comparable room besides the dreaded mini van. Believe me we have driven them all trying to make something work. In regards to temp being a possible issue for theses vehicles, I'm in Houston, Texas. I started driving and trying to purchase in the spring on first release and throughout the summer. It was never below 70 degrees. Btw - we have followed up with 2 dealers which we do business and have friendships with and they are very aware of the issues. Their words "it's a mess!"

Not sure if anyone would find this interesting, but I have continued my search for another vehicle comparable to the YukonXL, Denali after giving up on these vehicles due to what I've experienced and all reported in this thread. To know avail, nothing, we even tried the supposively new designed FORD (ick) Expedition Platiumn. Big sales pitch, less wind noise, much quieter? Drove 5 short and long, couldn't believe it, everyone of them! BUFFETING, EAR AND HEAD PRESSURE!! Painful! Everyone in the vehicles, even the salesman felt it. What the heck! Ridiculous!

I would LOVE to see this exposed nationally through the media so that GM would HAVE to acknowledge this instead of mass producing and selling to the unknowing.I've been following this post since the beginning, I came to it questioning the same issues for about 5 months, while test driving and couldn't find a single one without the issue. (I did however notice 1 Suburban LS didn't have the issue. No Bose system!) Only difference between us, I decided and gave up on the purchase. So thankful now.. Only yet to find anything to compare.. I've stated before, we are very friendly with a local dealership and a long time veteran salesman is clueless. He has requested the link to this forum. This is the craziest issue and the sale of these vehicles needs to be stopped until fixed. Its easier to give grace to mistakes, but hard to do when it's purposely ignored. Truly hope the victims are get vehicles replaced.

@andymac- I drove more than my share of Suburban LS & Yukon XL SLE both models made the horrible head and ear pressure. Definitely had the buffeting issue. My husband was also experiencing same symptoms. Nothing bothers him ever. We found no difference between the models from lower to upper end, all had issues. They are "not" the quietest ride on the planet. We both have said all along the 2014 and older had so much ridiculous wind and road noise, we bet whatever efforts were put into trying to make 2015 quieter is the problem. I test drove 2015's from May to late August and sadly gave up on plans to purchase due to their issues.

@The Zip re: I'm not comparing the quality of the suspensions, but it would be interesting to know if the PRS is better than the MRS for the GM fullsize vehicle line in addressing the issue on this thread. A way to get data would be for Yukon and Tahoe LT/LS owners to comment and say whether or not they are experiencing the issue on this thread. I never purchased any of these vehicles, due to the I experiencing the same issues on this thread, but test drove many ( Tahoe/Suburban Yukon/YukonXL ) all in the LS/LT level. We found 95% of them had the buffering noise and pressure in the ears feeling. One thing we noticed, the worst was in the longer versions. Started our search in April, last test drove was September. Talked with the dealer we trade with and they say the vehicles sell as fast as they receive them. They also claim they have not heard of these issues at all? I find very hard to believe....

@jasondenali 15 We actually do business with a dealer that said they hadn't heard any of these issues, was going to check into it and just had a handful new stock delivered. They asked if I wanted to try them out, I declined. Are you saying there is a new batch improved?

@yukontruckman FYI- was a lot of test drives, and over a 5 month period trying different ones (including Cheverolet). I was hoping the cabin pressure, buffeting noise, was due to perhaps base model, or tire brand, or something that might be different in each one. I was excited for these to come out with some features I needed, so yea maybe a lil determined to find one. Felt like it must just be me until Reading this forum, which brought me to my senses and the end of the search .

I chimed in earlier at the beginning of this thread as a shopper about to purchase a 2015 Yukon struggling with the cabin pressure and buffering. We gave up the search after all the confirmation from this forum and etc. in fact we have yet to test drive a GM 15 without the issues (there have been at least 50). We moved on to try Toyota Sequoia - they too are experiencing similar issues (re: dealership informed). Now we are about to settle for a clearanced out 2013 Yukon. Anyone care to share experiences with that year model?

My husband and I have been searching since May for a 2015 Suburban or Yukon XL . I thought I was going crazy because every time we test drove these guys, I was having terrible ear pain, and head pressure. I even thought at one point lately it must be congestion. All of them gave the very same reaction, from the LS, SLE-LTZ, Denali. My husband said he thought it was a window not completely up, nope wasn't it. I decided to just throw it out their on the web to see if there was something going on, I stumbled onto this forum. It's confirmed, I'm not crazy, however very, very disappointed as I've been waiting for these vehicles to come out for a year now. The Tahoe's, and Yukon's have been a hit a miss, never one completely without it the noise. Now I read and viewed the report of them catching on fire. What the heck, seems like I'm going to need to wait another year, for GM to get it together or revisit the 2014. Dang, the 2015 such a better ride and nicer, not much good if it burns up or has to sit in driveway.
