  1. 2.5” RC 295/70R17 +0
  2. These are the torque specs I used on my 2014 1500 when I installed my 2.5” kit. Worked great for me and have had no issues, just be sure to recheck and re-torque after you drive some and everything settles.
  3. Nice truck! Just like you, I bought my truck new as a retired service loaner with a couple thousand miles. Saved a bunch of money buying it as a retired loaner. It’s been a great truck, knocking on 70,000 miles. Only downside was I didn’t get a choice on color, but hard to complain with the discount I got it for, lol.
  4. Nice! how much of a lift? Is that a light by your antenna? Where did you get the mount for it??
  5. Installed a Ranch Hand grille gaurd I bought used for only $250. Not a bad deal.. Still iffy about that chrome grill hiding behind it though. At least it covered it up some.
  6. I’m running the 295/70/17 also. Just like @jgraves13 I almost went with 285’s, but thought the 295’s looked better as well.
  7. Added some tow mirrors. Shoutout to pgamboa for the custom DIY harness to get the turn signals on my new tow mirrors working. Now I need to find a black grille.
  8. 2.5” Rough Country leveling lift 17x9 XD Misfit (0 offset) 295/70R17 Nitto Trail Grappler MT’s Rubs just a little on the back wheel well liner at full lock. A little minor trimming could easily fix that. 2.5” lift was easy to install myself at the house. I highly recommend this setup to anyone looking for a small lift. No regrets.
  9. Awesome, that’s about what I am looking for as far as how far it sticks out. Thanks for the help!
  10. Thanks for sharing your setup. Are the tires flush with the upper part of your wheel wells or does it stick out a little?
  11. Ya I am not a big fan of those cheap tires either, definitely planning on running some Nitto’s. Thanks for the input, Could you share a pic of your truck? Did you do any trimming or have any rubbing?
  12. I’m leaning more towards a 18”.
  13. Can anybody share some recommendations or wheel/tire setups to run with a 2.5” Rough country leveling lift? I am going crazy trying to figure out a setup I can run without rubbing or trimming much. Would like a slightly aggressive stance, no more than 1” outside the wheel well.
  14. I just bought a new 2014 Silverado, and I am trying to decide what to do. Eventually I want to do something like a 6 inch lift, but I am going to hold off until after I pay the truck off to do something so radical. For the time being, I am trying to decide rather to just level it, or to do a 2.5 inch lift kit. I would rather do the 2.5 inch lift kit, but I am concerned about what effect this will have on gas mileage. So, anyone that has leveled their 2014, as well as those who have done around a 2.5 inch lift kit, could you please inform me about what affect you have seen on fuel economy?
