  1. Unfortunately I never got a chance to measure it before the work was done... and every truck seems to be a little different, especially with different cab/box configurations. Here is the specs from a 2014 Silverado 1500 LTZ Crew Cab Standard Bed with the full RC 2.5 kit and 305/55r20 tires: Stock height with 275/55r20: 37" Front 38.75" Rear Leveled+Block with 275/55r20: 39.5" Front 39.75" Rear Leveled+Block with 305/55r20: 40.25" Front 40.5" Rear His seem to be lower in the rear, but that could be due to the added weight of the longer box. I know the Ext Cabs tend to have more rake than a crew cab. There's a couple members with the RC 2.5 kit and the general consensus is that on a crew cab with a stock rear block you'll be about 0.25-0.5" higher in the back. One member with a 2" front only is sitting at 39/40, another like mine with the 2.5" front only is 39.5/40. In theory, if I swap the rear blocks I "should" have approx. 39.5/40.75 fender measurements with 1" - 1.5" of rake. So depending on what you want, it sounds like the supplied 2" block will be enough to give you the rake you're after... or just leave the rear blocks and only do the 2" front kit.
  2. Here's a little bit of an update, got the Rough Country 2.5" kit installed up front and the 295/55r20 Toyo AT2 Extreme tires on. Decided to leave the stock blocks in the back for now, had the shop send me a couple pics and take a few measurements. Currently sitting at 39.5" up front and 39.75" out back from ground to center of fender. I'll give it some time to see if it settles and if I change my mind I can easily swap the rear blocks. Just have to get the BulletProof offset flaps on, tint the front windows and get the front bumper PPF installed.

  4. When I first heard about the Iridium Metallic and Tungsten I thought they were bringing back the Graystone Metallic or Charcoal Gray... That's the only color I'd ever buy other than black. With black wheels and accents it really looks amazing.
  5. It's hard to see the numbers in those images for some reason, but if you go directly to www.toyo.com you can view the weights and other specifications of each tire. Width has a lot to do with how much the tires weigh, I was initially planning on running 305/55r20 (33.2x12.4) Toyo AT2's but realized they were 74lbs a piece. By simply going down to a 295/55r20 (32.8x12.2) Toyo AT2 they only weigh 60lbs, that's 14lbs per corner is a lot of extra rolling mass for an extra 0.4" in height and 0.2" in width. Both have the same tread depth, but the 295's actually have a higher speed rating and greater weight capacity than the 305's.
  6. Directly from Toyo's website: Fullsize:
  7. So it's just a regular LT or LTZ with color matched bumpers for 3grand... Pretty sure it cost a lot less than that to paint a couple bumpers. Offsetting the vast swaths of non-color are a chrome-accented black grille, 20-inch chrome wheels, chrome door handles, chrome mirror caps, and side moldings. You’ll also score yourself a set of projector-beam headlights, tow hooks, and heated power mirrors. The Custom Sport package will only be available on LT and LTZ models. LTZ trucks get White Diamond Tricoat instead of the normal white paint on the LT version. And if you want to add the Z71 off-road package, it’s no problem. Pricing for the package ranges from $1950 to $2950.
  8. Here's my bone stock 2015 Sierra All-Terrain "before" pictures for reference. Plans are 2.5" RC kit up front, gonna leave the stock blocks in the back. I'll swap for the RC blocks if I have less than 0.5" rake or looks "nose high". It's also getting 295/55r20 (33x11.5) Toyo AT2 Xtreme tires on stock 20's and black Bulletproof offset mud flaps. Should be done after the weekend, I'll report back with "after" pictures and measurements.
  9. Greg the owner is a good friend of a friend of mine. They do all of Wheaton's trucks, is that where you bought yours? I'm still trying to justify spending over $500 on those Bulletproof flaps, but they really are the nicest out there.. and will save the paint from our horrible roads.
  10. I'm currently debating what to do with my new 15' All Terrain for flaps, it's currently getting a 2.5 RC kit and 33" toyo's. As much as i hate the look of flaps, i hate the look of chipped paint more... especially here in AB with our crappy roads and harsh winters they're a necessity. I'm leaning towards going all out with a set of black BulletProof flaps, they offer great protection and look pretty tough too. Here's a few pictures for reference: They come in black powdercoat or polished stainless and a variety of different widths/lengths. They are also offset or "kickback" to provide adequate clearance for over sized tires.
  11. Beautiful truck! Do those flaps even do anything though?
  12. Nice truck, more pics of the one on the right???
  13. Not mine, but built by a local dealership. Love the color if done properly.
