  1. They're made by Bulletproof Bumpers.. but the shop i deal with has them custom made with their logo on it, Farleys Truck & Auto Addictions. CNC cut stainless steel kickback to clear larger tires, heavy duty rubber with all stainless hardware. These are the 12" wide, black powdercoat... but you can get them in plenty of different sizes.
  2. No doubt that would probably look better... but I'm not about to pull the headlights apart. Too much effort for the end result haha, smoking them with film should cut down on how much they stand out.
  3. Rough Country +2.5 level up front and +1 block in back. 20x10 -24 xd820 wheels. 285/55r20 Cooper At3 tires. 12" kickback flaps. Black vinyl wrapped all chrome. PPF over vinyl and full front end. Full Debadge. 5% tint over factory rear tint. 30% front tint. Vinyl smoked rear lights. Vanquish Auto LED's. BakFlip HD Tonneau. Planning on smoking the front amber signals as they stand out too much to me. Also, going to do a muffler delete to give it a little more rumble.
  4. Haha thanks... GM should release the Hutch package. Leveled on 20x10s with AT tires and Kickback Flaps. Debadged/Smoked/Tinted. Black on Black on Black. I've probably done that same setup on half a dozen trucks now.... ?
  5. Someone say black? 10th vehicle in a row I've bought black... Every time I regret it though Haha!
  6. New 17' I just picked up. Traded in the 16' Duramax... didn't have a need for a diesel anymore.
  7. Hey guys, didn't quite find what I was looking for. I have a customer with a 2015 and the LED back up lights in the mirrors. Anyone know of a way to turn them on while the truck is in drive?
  8. Bumping this thread... any Silver Ice trucks with Black 22's ? Thinking about selling my black all terrain and going with more of a "street truck"... I'm tired of washing black vehicles. Found a pic of a silver rally edition:
  9. I like the sounds of those measurements, but I agree not worth it if you're getting vibrations... How about putting the shackles back to stock and pulling the rear block instead?
  10. Fender Measurements???
  11. How has the black finish been holding up on these? I just sold my factory chrome boards and am planning on picking up a set of "new" black take-offs.
  12. On stock 20's you'll be rubbing the upper control arms and sway bars at full lock with a 305(12.5") wide tire. I have stock 20's with 295/55r20(33x11.5) Toyo AT2 Xtreme tires that rubbed the UCA lock. I'm now running 8mm wheel spacers so my wheel offset is like a +19mm now, stock 20's are +27mm. That's the thickest you can go to remain a safe amount of wheel stud. They just clear the UCA now but I can still get them to touch if I crank the wheel to max in reverse. If you want ZERO rubbing on stock 20's a 285 is the widest you can go.
  13. Factory 20's are +27mm so either will stick out further than stock. To clear the 295's against the control arms you need a minimum +18mm offset. I'd personally go with the +12's unless you want to be wider than your fenders. "0 offset" means the hub face is exactly in the center of the wheel. The more positive the number the further in the wheels are tucked, less positive or even negative offset sticks the wheels out away from the vehicle.
  14. Yeapp... you're gonna rub the control arms / sway bar on full lock with 295's on stock 20's.
  15. No worries, a lot of people just say "don't worry about it, and just deal with it" but I'm too big of a perfectionist if something isn't "right" HaHa. Maybe if you have a good tire shop they'll test fit a front tire and see what kind of clearance you have at full lock... Good luck and let us know how you make out!
  16. I have a 2015 Sierra All Terrain, running a 2.5" Rough Country level and Toyo AT2 Xtreme 295/55r20 (33x12) tires on the factory 20" wheels. I know the factory AT and Denali wheels are both +27mm offset, it's stamped right in the back. I'm assuming the Chevy 20's are also the same. Saying the MAX tire size you can run is kind of irrelevant because a 305 Mud Terrain is going to be wider than a 305 Highway Terrain, and no brand is exactly the same size. What I can tell you for sure, is on stock +27mm offset wheels you WILL rub the control arms with a 305/55r20 (33x12.5) wide tire. Everyone is always concerned about rubbing fender liners but that's plastic that can be easily manipulated. The control arms and sway bar are however a little less forgiving if you're rubbing up against them. Here's some pictures of my truck: You can see where the sidewall rubs the UCA and sway bar at full lock. I know of two other forum members with the exact same tire on factory 20's with the same issue so I know I'm not alone. Seeing that the 295's rub, I guarantee the 305's will... It's the wheel offset thats killing it, many forum members are able to run the 305's with no clearance issues by simply running an aftermarket wheel with +12 or +18mm offset. For sure you'll clear 275/60r20's (33x11), I've even heard of guys running 275/65r20's (34x11) but they might slightly rub the inner fender liner that can be zip-tied back. I'd be willing to bet that a 285/60r20 (33x11.5) wide tire would be the ideal size to clear the fenders and control arms, but pretty sure that size is only available in the Goodyear Duratrac's. Another thing to consider if you care about fuel mileage is tire weight. Initially I thought I could fit 295's or 305's and only decided on the 295's because their 14lbs lighter per tire when comparing the 33x12 to the 33x12.5. I'm going to try and add some 8mm front wheel spacers to simulate a +19 offset wheel and see if it's enough to push my tires out far enough to clear the UCA's. Crawl under your truck and see what you're wheel offset is, it should actually say "20x9 +27mm Offset" or it might be one big number like "20x9JXIS27", either way knowing your offset is crucial to figuring out "what fits or not".
  17. Yeah I'm not sure, it was literally "like new"... less than 6 months old. Doesn't show any signs of wear or damage. Both rods are perfectly straight, just seem like the drivers side is too short to fully latch into the railing.
  18. I have a Undercover Flex on my 2015 and had a Bakflip HD on my old duramax. I bought both "used" less than a year old and it was honestly solely on price, just turned out that way. After having both, I think I like the Undercover better. Seems to have a slightly better "fit and finish" compared to the Bakflip. The only "issue" I have with the Undercover Flex is the rod that locks the 2nd panel down doesn't seem to latch the drivers side of the rail even though the cover is centered perfectly on the bed. Almost seems like the rod is a little too short or something, any of you Flex guys have this issue? My cover leaked a little on the edges, but I solved this problem by lowering the rails 1/8" below the box sides so it adds a little more force on the rubber seal.
  19. Temps have been creeping up closer to 0*C (32*F) for the last week or so, less warm up times... noticed an improvement over the last 100km. Up around 17/18L/100km.. that's like 13/14mpg. Not the greatest but beats my original 11/12mpg I was getting at first. I know it'll never get to 23mpg but even if I get up around 18/19 in the summer months I'll be pretty happy.
  20. I love the "dark tint" color wheels on certain trucks, I think the Brownstone is a perfect candidate to pull it off. Here's a lowered 15' Sierra with 24x10 DuB Shot Calla's in Dark Tint with Nitto Terra Grapplers.
  21. Are you rubbing your upper control arm at full lock? I'm running a 2.5" level with 295/55's on stock 20's and it rubs the control arm pretty bad at full lock, but i don't actually "feel" anything in the wheel.
  22. Quite possibly... temps are well below 0*C here, even dipping below -25 on occasion. That's below -10*F for you U.S folks. The cold weather in general combined with idle/warm-up time definitely does help.
  23. No love for DDM??? Haha, I don't doubt that the Morimoto's are better quality but I've always had great success with DDM... especially for the price! DDM 35watt 4500k DDM LED Fogs + Amber Delete Tron Mod
  24. I'm usually in and out of Farley's once a week... I move most of Wheaton's vehicles for them on my days off from my real job. Greg does all of there "custom truck's" ... and yah, a quick glance through the parking lot or even on there Facebook page is littered with lifted black Chevy's haha.
  25. 295/55r20 Toyo AT2 Xtreme on Stock 20's, RC 2/5" Lift/Level. Truck is still under 1000km. I haven't re-calibrated my speedo so the mileage should actually be a little better than what's displayed. I average 80% highway, 20% city. According to my calculations... I'm displaying about 3.4% too slow, so that averages me approx. 19.3L/100km or 12mpg! I'm surprised how horrible the fuel economy is, anyone notice an improvement as they got more miles on the truck?
