  1. Does anyone have an idea of many owners have the abnormal vibration problem on this site/thread? This thread is over 2 years old and has 453 pages/6700+ posts but many people have posted numerous times.
  2. From what I've read, I don't believe that a body lift will have any affect on ride quality. My understanding is that ride quality falls under the suspension category.
  3. Good point. I've noticed the same thing. I've recently driven trucks with 35" tires that have 3.42 (5.3L 6 speed) gears and 3.23 (6.2L 8 speed) gears and under normal acceleration/driving there was little difference in the way they drove. When driving them under mid to hard acceleration, the difference was noticeable (as expected) but not alarming or unacceptable IMO. They still got the job done easily and were still fun to drive. Let me also clarify, I don't drive trucks like a "bat-outta-hell" or "like I stole it" either. 90-95% of my driving is under normal acceleration. With that said, I wouldn't hesitate to add a lift & 35's" to a 3.42 5.3L or 3.23 6.2L and leave the gears as they are.
  4. Maylon / Clint, both of your trucks are awesome.
  5. What brand spacers did you go with? Hub centric?
  6. With no responses about problems, I guess for the most part Pro Comp owners aren't having any issues.
  7. I seriously question the authenticity of some posts............. With that said: I'm not downplaying the issue by any means and I personally feel for anyone who's had/having vibration issues. I hope the matter is finally figured out and resolved. When I purchased my truck earlier this year, during the test drive, there was a noticeable shake/vibration. The salesman stated that the tires probably were out of balance and it was sent to the service department for repair and another test drive before purchasing. After I test drove my truck again, with no shakes or vibrations, I asked what was wrong. Salesman stated that the front driver side tire was out of round and needed to be replaced. They replaced the tire immediately and the shake/vibration was gone. He also said they've seen this issue more than once, new trucks arriving with bad tires that needed to be replaced before being sold. I've since had no problems in 7000 miles and don't anticipate any. It was a noticeable difference when the new tire was installed. BTW, my truck was ordered with the optional 22's and Bridgestone Duelers.
  8. Okay, so no other tuning besides the speedometer?
  9. If you've had no issues in 3000 miles, chances are that you won't have any with stabilitrac simply due to the lift installation. From what I've read, stabilitrac issues surface, in most cases, immediately after lift installation. Did you have your truck/speedometer, etc tuned after the lift was installed or is your programming completely stock?
  10. Is your truck an early 14 model? It's seems, by what I'm reading, that later 14 models and 15 models have been having issues with stabilitrac. Maybe slightly different programming? Not sure...... I haven't seen where Pro Comp owners have been having any problems with stabilitrac by what I've read. I guess it could be that they haven't chimed in if they have.
  11. Just read the thread where owners of lifted trucks and bigger tires were having issues with stabilitrac. I noticed (could've missed something though) that owners with rough country, BDS, and custom lifts had these issues and that the alignment / possibly the stabilitrac sensor wires were pinched/stretched were the most likely causes. One owner contacted Rocky Ridge and RR felt it was stretched sensor wires causing the problems. Others seem to have corrected the issue by having their truck aligned properly. I posed the question in that thread and I'll pose it here also because many different types of lift makes are represented here; are Pro Comp 6" lift owners having an issue with stabilitrac?
  12. Wow. That's HUGE.
  13. Truck looks awesome!
  14. No, but thank you for the offer though.
  15. When I purchased my truck I was strongly considering a leveling kit but the desire to do so is quickly fading. The stock look is really growing on me and I'm leaning more towards leaving it like it is.
  16. The HC grill does indeed look nice but I like the honeycomb grill also.
