  1. Is that a stock Borla exhaust or modified?
  2. I have used one for years. Definitely worth the money.
  3. About 1.5 inches on each side.
  4. Has anyone had a problem with their steering rack & pinion since installing a lift kit? http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/182227-2015-silverado-rack-pinion/
  5. Glad you are happy because it seems like you took a hit by what you've wrote, being that you probably paid around 60K for a Tundra (Tundra Double Cab Limited is around 50K+, and the over 10K depreciation hit that you took). Most importantly, you have piece of mind and are happy with your purchase.
  6. The only bad I've read about BDS is some 14 and up owners have had issues with stabilitrac after the 6" lift was installed and BDS was working with those owners to fix the issue. The only bad I've read about Pro Comp was when the lift kits first hit the market some 2014 owners had front diffs go bad because of angle/lubrication after the 6" lift was installed. Pro Comp covered repairs with lift shield and corrected the angle issues. I haven't heard anything about it since.
  7. I agree. I see a lot of T/H mode use in my future.
  8. TX_AT, Time to update your signature, isn't it.
  9. I just got back from a 1300+ mile trip with 99% driven at interstate speeds. No issues. 10K miles on my truck. That's what all dealers do in regards to late model trade-in's. Especially those less than a year old. They simply don't want them in most cases, except for rare cars. They low ball on trade-in's because they wanna make money on them by selling them higher. Great points. This.....
  10. Yep, absurd. Expect a dealer to attempt to capitalize on anything they can and give you any excuse to low ball every trade. That's just what they do, vibration or not. They'll give you any excuse they can along with their ridiculous trade in price in an attempt to justify it. Had you traded, they would've turned around and attempted to sell your truck in the 50's. The typical Chevy dealer would've offered the same or near the same trade in value for either of those two brands under similar circumstances.
  11. First year depreciation can be up to 25%, in some cases more, but average is around 20% of the purchase value on new vehicles. This applies to all vehicles. The more the vehicle costs, the larger the percentage depreciation dollar amount is. A 46K truck at 20% 1st year depreciation is now worth 36,000.00 on average. These numbers have little or nothing to do with the vibration issue some trucks are having here.
  12. I posted I posted that question a while ago in the lift/suspension thread and got nothing. It was assumed that there were no issues after adding a lift beyond the normal vibs that come along with more aggressive tires/tread patterns.
  13. Since most trucks experience vibs at 70+ mph, could it be possibly connected to AFM? Is anyone with an aftermarket exhaust w/o a valve experiencing major vibs or shakes?
  14. I read where many on this forum have a 5, 6, & 7 inch lift. If the lift was causing the problem, I would think that all of them would be affected too. Unless your installer didn't put your diff's at the right angles during the lift kit installation.
  15. Out of the total amount sold, this seems to be correct.
  16. So have I and none of them had vibration either. I've also driven a couple of 2015 Siverados before I purchased and none had vibration either. All of the Chevys that i drove were tested on the interstate. I do alot of interstate driving so its always a must during my test drives. That's my experience which I realize is different from what some others have experienced.
  17. Seems like vibrations aren't exclusively a GM problem. http://www.f150forum.com/f118/2015-f150-fx4-vibration-help-297498/ http://www.fordf150.net/forums/viewtopic.php?t=119087 http://www.ramforum.com/f38/2015_vibration%3B_floor_gas_pedal_steering-66298/ http://www.ramforumz.com/showthread.php?t=204885
