You still need to use 2 wires (#4 and #6 if I recall correctly)

It will still only work for charging, I tried a usb to mini usb extension cord, and I was able to charge from it, but not control my music, so I just used the cord from GM that runs from the HMI, to the 3 usb's

Check eBay I think you can find one on there cheaper, I ordered 80% of mine on eBay

Help please, I did my install last night, everything went very good, and everything is working except my front usb, I did use the #4 and #6 wires to the front usb, by jumping power from the cig lighter, but it isn't charging, do I need another wire in this, or what am I missing?

Hopefully, I will tackle this tonight, I finally got all the pieces in that I needed. Wish me luck!!
