    According to my dealer, GM is not taking ‘sold’ orders. Rather, dealers are given allocations monthly and they can order against those. Not sure how true that is, but it could be that your dealer has taken your order but they don’t have an allocation to place it against.

    Yes, sorry, it was cayenne. I really don’t need a truck in the winter so I’m in no real hurry, especially if it’s not exactly what I want. There really isn’t much inventory out there since according to my dealer GM isn’t even allowing sold orders, it’s allocation only.

    It was a crew cab Denali. I did see that for 1500s, crews only. Guess covid has the entire supply chain still messed up.

    Called my local dealer today, looking to order a 3500HD. I spec’d out red quartz and selected body color wheel well liners, but was told it’s not available for order even though I was able to pick it on GMs configuration site. I did see a truck like that at a dealer 400 miles away so I wonder if it’s on constraint? Also the dealer said they can’t lock in employee price for all on an HD which stinks since there are very few on dealer lots now. Looks like I may wait to order until spring since other incentives are basically zero now.
