  1. Mine didn't come with the console. Yeah. Just did. Thanks.
  2. Ah. Thanks, but I need 98241, which is for a 1500 extended cab. Appreciate it.
  3. Sounds good. But, I just did a check on Ebay, and all the front and rear sets are priced at a minimum of 179.95. Where did you find them for 120.00 delivered?
  4. How do you like the Husky mats? Did you compare them to the Weathertechs?
  5. On my 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT, here is my Pace Edwards "Jackrabbit" tonneau cover and a factory GMC "Bed Rug." Had to modify the side rails of the Jackrabbit to compensate for the thickness of the Bed Rug. Pace Edwards is cool with the mod, and now the tailgate shuts perfectly, with a 1/16" clearance: Here she is with GMC Factory Mudguards installed. They fit perfectly.
  6. For my 2015 GMC Sierra 1500 SLT, I've added the following carefully chosen and installed (by me) accessories: Front & Rear Factory GMC Mudguards. To me, they have the best fit and protection. I flooded all fasteners and drilled holes with silicone for a rust-free install: GMC Factory "Bed Rug." Made by Bed Rug for GMC, it is slightly less expensive than the Bed Rug aftermarket model, and it has a GMC logo to boot. Hidden, alas, by the Pace Edwards "Jackrabbit" tonneau cannister: I had to modify the side rails of the PE Jackrabbit by 3/8" with a Dremel tool, as the thickness of the Bed Rug initially hampered the install. Tailgate now closes perfectly. Last but not least, a "SuperBumper." Good for protection from a rear end crash, it will deal a severe blow to any vehicle that tries to get overly friendly:
  7. Meh. Different design. I can't see an advantage or disadvantage in any of them.
  8. Yep. I know where you're coming from. I'm 60 years old this January, and, although I'm in great shape for my age (a fitness addict) I figure I'll be into my 70's (gulp!) before I turn in this truck for God Know's what. So, I bought the Pace Edwards. I just ordered GM's P.N. 22892012 Bed Rug Kit for 2015 GMC Sierra 6.6 Bed, and a set of molded GMC Mud Guards, front and rear. The GMC Bed Rug was a little less $$$ than the BedRug's version, and the GMC Mudguards look "ex-factory/"
  9. Didn't see it. Good?
  10. I ordered the Pace Edwards Jackrabbit. Why? Because I like it better than the Roll-N-Lock A Series as it is entirely flush with the top of the bed. I don't like the Roll-N-Lock's front housing standing above the top of the bed. Also, I like the PE's lock and hardware better. Just sayin.'
  11. What about the Pace Edwards Full Metal Jackrabbit? Looks nice. I like that the cover housing up front sits just about flush with the top of the bed.
  12. I don't mind spending money when it pays or counts. I anticipate owning this truck for 10 years, as I do all my vehicles. Paying an extra 500 bucks or so over the long run is peanuts. And, if it results in satisfaction over that time period, then it's not a problem spending the dough.
  13. Yeah, I know that. I believe they were referring to it's ability to seal well, hence their claim that it's their "best" folding cover in that regard.
  14. There's something else to this thread that we really haven't addressed with regards to evaluating how "good" these various tonneau covers are, and that is the quality of the installation. Not to put too fine a point on it, but installation can make or break the final product depending on the skill level of the installer and the level of difficulty of the installation. Also, how well the product interfaces with the various trucks in question. When I install or work on anything, I research the hell out of the procedure before I pick up a tool. Many times I have brought into play modifications to a product or alterations to the install or assembly to improve the final product. But, most of the time just following instructions closely results in a satisfying end product. Others are sometimes not that careful. That can result in widely varying levels of product satisfaction. Put a cover on wrong, and it will leak, rattle, be hard to remove, etc.
  15. It looks to my eyes to be a really "finished" product, top to bottom, seals, hardware, etc. BAK says it's their most water resistant folding tonneau, as well. Important to me, anyways.
  16. Gentlemen, Given the following factors: Price/Quality/Utility/Aesthetics, who makes the best roll-up tonneau cover?
  17. I wonder if wheel size has anything to do with it. I test drove a new base 2015 GMC Sierra, regular cab, 5.3 V8, 4x4 with stock steel 17" rims and tires. Truck hopped like mad at 69-71 mph. Awful.
  18. Do ALL the 2015 Sierra 1500s have this problem? If not, what percentage has it?
  19. I think I'm going to bag it. I don't want any of this. Looks like a Dodge RAM 1500 is in my future.
  20. Not to be a wise guy, but, what should I be looking at? I've driven two 2015 GMC Sierras that were smooth as silk, so I know they exist.
  21. I called the salesman yesterday and suggested to him that they address the Vibration issue BEFORE they sell the truck to me. Late yesterday he said they would look into it today. I suggested to him that he take a ride with the Service and the Sales Manager and precisely point out the problem before they fix it. I'm contemplating drawing up an agreement stating that if the problem rears it's head again they have three chances to deal with it, otherwise they buy the truck back from me at the price paid, no questions asked. And I want the GM Regional Manager to sign off on it as well. I think I'm being logical and reasonable on this. What do you all think? Lee
  22. Well...I've paid close attention to this topic. Obviously, as I am contemplating a new 2015 Sierra SLT. Dealer called me and said he has a loaded black 2015 SLT Sierra for sale at a good price. I told him I would only buy the truck after I test drove it. Told him, and his sales manager, about this forum and topic. Test drove it. Has a pronounced shake at 60 to 67 mph. Tapers off after that. Told him to find another one; not going to buy it, no matter what the price is. Too bad, it's a loaded black leather with black exterior. Nice truck. I've driven four 2015 GMC Sierras off the dealer lots. Two have an oscillation or shake. Geesh. What's a buyer to do? Lee
