  1. So an update on my 2015 Silverado. Since filing for the vehicle defect notice the truck was dropped off at the dealership. During its 10 day sleepover at the dealership they were able to confirm the vibration on the dealerships picoscope as well as the GM engineers picoscope. Like every other time they went back to the tires being by issue. They ended up finding the actual rims were out of balance per GM specs. I believe they said the rims alone took around 7 ounces to balance and weren't supposed to be over 4. Just FYI I have the 22" wheels. They ordered new ones which came scratched from the factory and then ordered another set. They also attempted to balance my original set which the dealer had because they had scratched during the first few visits and had already replaced them. Those wheels were also to far out of specs. They finally ended up getting a good set of wheels finally within GM specs. Next it was on to the tires!!!! Without getting my paper work out I think they ended up using 2-3 sets of tires to get 4 good tires that would pass the GM specs. I also have be Bridgestone duelers A/T tires. During all the balance process the dealer even had the hunter reps being out an actual large vehicle which had the latest and greatest hunter balancerachone on it and tbey used it as well as their in house balanced to verify balancing accuracy. So to end the long story they actually called me on the 10th day at 5pm and said the truck was finished. In Florida all they have is 10 days to complete the repairs. Kind of funny they called and finished on the last hour they had. The truck does ride better but it's been a few weeks and there is still a vibration and the intermittent vibration still comes and goes while at highways speeds. GM customer care called and I told them it still wasn't completed. They said in their eyes the truck was completed and offered me half a months truck payment. What a complete waste of my time. No one from GM even rode in my truck upon completion so how can they say it fixed? It's actually an insult to me that I bought a 50k truck and they think I'm worried about 225$ really GM?? Guess it's off the the BBB to file a class against GM. I have been patient and kept my cool with GM during the entire process but it's a joke how they are treating this issue. I have all documentation and videos and ready to take them the the BBB and arbitration if necessary! Good luck everyone!
  2. My truck still sits at the dealer as of today. Today makes their 10th day and according to Floridas lemon law they only have 10 days to repair the truck on this final attempt or GM owes me a replace/repurchase! Should be interesting to see what happens from here.
  3. So my truck is back at the dealer for the final repair attempt. GM engineers acknowledge the vibration and also picked it up on the pico scope. Once again they are hung up on the tires and wheels. They did check the shocks and verified them as good. So for now they found 3 of 4 wheels without tires were calling for over 7 ounces of weight just to balance and I was told the limit is 4. They ordered 3 new wheels and all 3 came scratched so they ordered 3 more. They were able to balance one wheel tire combo and after they balanced it they did a bead massage...... Really? A bead massage? Anyone else had this done I've never heard of this and laughed when he told me. Also after the bead massage the tire was again back out of balance. Wtf? The dealer seems to be really trying which is nice but this truck just flat out sucks. The service director also had his hunter rep come out and calibrate their balancer which was good and required no calibration but one was done anyways. I have the factory 22" black wheels with Bridgestone dueler a/t tires and this is also already my second set of wheel and tires. The new wheels they ordered will be my third set. Anyone ever had the dealer check the wheels before they put a tire on to balance? Service director said all tires/ wheels balanced good and had low road force numbers but the wheel itself should not be over 4 ounces out of balance. I'm just passing info along and hope it helps someone but I'm sure mine won't be fixed but who knows. He saga continues! Service director also confirmed the wheels are hub centric and also verified the right cone was bein used per the hunter rep.
  4. Well I would like to add my Silverado to the list of vibrating trucks. I have a 2015 Silverado LT CC with the rally 2 edition. It's had vibration that was noticed in the first few hundred miles and has had the rear end rebuilt which did improve the issues but it's still not fixed. It has also had all new wheels and I forget how many tires and balances without reading the paper work from the dealer. The dealer actually offered me a trade which rode like crap as well, but they at least tried to work with me and have been a good dealer to work with. The vibration seems to come and go but is always present at most speeds but the worse being on the interstate. The truck meets all requirements in Florida for the lemon law and I'm over this damn truck. So my only question that I need some help with is do I file lemon law or just go right to the BBB? I'm thinking to do both because I don't think they can fix this POS.
