  1. Thats a fair price! $150-250 is the range (plus alignment)
  2. 2014+ Chevy / GMC 1500 2wd/4wd 5100 Set On 0" Setting
  3. Bilstein and Eibach are both made in the USA. Bilstein's factory is in Hebron, KY. Eibach's factory is in Corona, CA
  4. 6112s are a coilover only, no rear shocks will be made. Youll need to go with either a 5100 or the 5160 w/ reservoir. The 5160 rear is a tad longer than the 5100 to accommodate a larger lift block or add a leaf. The performance and ride quality of the shocks described above is as follows. Bilstein 5100 < Eibach Pro Kit < Bilstein 6112. Its hard to compare the 2.0" diameter of the 5100 and the Eibach kit to the massive 2.65" diameter of the 6112. The larger shock size means the 6112 has 40% more dampening force than the 2" shocks do, which means it doesnt have to work nearly as hard to absorb an impact. The Eibach kit rides slightly better than the standard 5100s as it has its own coil spring and is tuned as a package. The 5100 is a major upgrade from the stock Rancho or Tenneco shocks in terms of ride quality, as mentioned in this thread. 6112s are $610 here - http://mrtmotorsports.net/bilstein-shock-sets/bilstein-6112/47273702/i-7474057.aspx
  5. Great looking install!! Glad to hear they are providing a huge improvement in ride quality. These should have been what came on the truck from the factory.
  6. All 6112 models back in stock - orders from last year shipping first, direct from Bilstein. 150 units +/- are up for grabs 07-13 GM 1500 - http://mrtmotorsports.net/bilstein-shock-sets/bilstein-6112/47244641/i-7474058.aspx 14-18 GM 1500 - http://mrtmotorsports.net/bilstein-shock-sets/bilstein-6112/47273702/i-7474057.aspx
  7. Thanks for deleting all of the answers to the questions asked without notice GM Trucks Mods. What a waste of time, and Im sure the members love not getting the information they request.
  8. You are Peter, our local Vegas customer? No problem to return those if you want to wait on the bilsteins, but we have no idea when they will actually come out, realistically its 30-90 days.
  9. No UCA required. Price point is the same as the other 6112 models on the market with MSRP of $799 for the front pair (We sell our Toyota units right under $600 for the pair) 6112 is a 2.65" Diameter shock vs the Fox 2.0" diameter. Less features & preset ride heights compared to the FOX, but they have internals and piston size of much more expensive $1000+ coilover sets. I ran the development set on the 2015 Baja 1000 course, and the 2016 & 2017 Mint 400 courses with better than expected performance.
  10. Spoke with Bilstein at the show. Internal changes have held up the release of many new products. Per the Offroad Department @ the SEMA Show, the 6112s should be ready to ship by mid-Dec, they have completed production of the first batch. We are awaiting the part number then we will begin filling the pre-orders. Fingers crossed!
  11. U-Turns will be hard. But if its just for a day I think you will survive.
  12. They always have one reason or another, but hopefully that is the truth. They have been due since last year. I will believe them when they arrive to our loading dock!!!
  13. Nice looking trucks everyone! Remember, most bracket lift kits reuse the stock front shocks and include some crappy rear twin tubes. Even the upgraded shocks are not worth it in some cases. Fox & King both offer full length replacement coilovers that will replace the front lift spacer/shock combo with a full length, 2.5" diameter coilover. This will greatly improve the ride quality, looks, and offroad performance.
  14. The 285/75R17 is a 33.8" tire, the 285/70R17 is a 32.7" tire. Width is the same. The 295/70R17 is 33.25" tall so that shouldnt be an issue, but its also about .4" wider than the 285s are so you may rub the control arm if you are running stock wheels.
  15. Typical Bilstein. Ive done about 20 of these releases for them now over the past ten years. Always the same story... but Id rather have them release a product that is 100% ready for market then rush to get something out and deal with problems down the line (cough first gen fox 2.0s cough)
  16. 5100s will work great as well. The 5160 is very similar in ride quality, but is slightly longer to accommodate larger rear block lifts as well as having the reservoir for added oil capacity. As soon as we have the part number from Bilstein for the 6112s, we will be contacting all of those on our preorder list as well as posting up pre-sale info for all.
  17. Hello all! We have been away from the forums, super busy with our new retail store in Las Vegas.. We heard from Bilstein on Monday and wanted to updated everyone on the status of the 6112s. The new 5160 Rear Reservoir Shocks are now released & in stock and shipping! They are 1.5" longer than the 5100 rear shock and will accommodate up to a 2.5" rear lift block! PN Bil 25-242515 $340 a pair delivered
  18. Thanks for posting that. We do text during normal business hours! Or call us at that number. Or email us! Or Pm US, or Message us on facebook. Got your text Corey, you ordered with Spencer which means your shocks should be shipping out today via Bilstein. Youll see them before the weekend. Thanks!
  19. Hey Spencer, Tracking is normally emailed within a few days of your order being processed. Our email is [email protected] (A lot of people put .com and that wont work, yet). If you ordered the 26th, most likely youll receive tracking tonight around 5-6PM PST. As always, if you have a order question you can PM us as well.
  20. Rental compressors should work fine on these, the spring rate isnt as high as some cars. You could always bring the parts to a mechanic shop, shouldn't be more than $50 to assemble new shocks. 6112s are not out yet, few more months. Bilstein front, rear, and complete sets with GMTrucks discount - http://www.gm-trucks.com/forums/topic/197020-set-of-4-bilstein-5100s-under-350-delivered/
  21. We have two kits of the non-adjustable in stock! Shoot us a PM to get your GM Truck setup today!!
