  1. I had a very similar problem with my 2015 Sierra Denali. Did you have the permaplate by chance? That seems to be what did it to mine. Made it extremely brittle and faded quickly. GM did absolutely nothing for me, so I got rid of it.
  2. I have a 2015 Suburban LTZ. I recently retrofitted a newer console lid with a first gen wireless charger since mine was toast. When I installed it, I noticed that the plug to hook it up was present, and finished the install. It didn't work. I then later found out that I probably needed the Qi version, so I bought that and installed it with the included adapter. After install, it still doesn't work. I've verified it's plugged in, but it won't charge my phone, whether it's placed directly on top, case or no case, multiple phones, etc. I'm considering that somewhere on the other end of the harness, since this is an early 2015, maybe it wasn't hooked up. Or perhaps maybe there's a separate fuse for the wireless charger that I don't have? Does anyone know if the wireless charger uses a separate fuse? Anyone know where the harness traces to so I can see if it's not connected at the other end? I know this is a bit ambiguous. Hoping someone's already had this problem. Did a lot of searching and YouTube but can't identify a specific fuse. Thanks
  3. I have had these issues...basically everything in this entire thread. I have a 2015 Denali, and at 17,000mi the dealership replaced the transmission. It is even WORSE after this has happened. I issued the final repair notice to GM after having the truck in the shop 9 times in the first year - they told me to pound sand on the final repair attempt and denied the issue even exists. I get shudders, hard shifts, lurching at low speeds, LOUD clunking...the works. It is insane - criminal - that they are allowing this to happen to people with these 8spd transmissions. Their customer service is HORRENDOUS, and has put me into the system and has circulated me for months without doing anything. They offered an extended warranty - but what's the point if I have to come in to the dealership 10+ times a year? The truck not only causes serious safety concerns, but costs me hundreds of dollars by having to go to the dealer (50 mi away) for service. This truck is a complete sham. I am shocked that an American company would screw over so many Americans. I know we're not the only ones - just the only ones on the forums talking about it. Has anyone else had any luck in resolving the issues permanently? Whether through a new 2016/2017 that doesn't have the issues, or ANYTHING that fixes this? I feel like I'm going insane here.
