That’s the same product I have to do my tail lights. Was looking to do the fronts but wasn’t sure how it would turn out with the light coming through. Finally got the tail gate light strip installed. Gonna get under and hard wire it when I get more time. Right now it’s just plugged into the 4-pin trailer harness and hardwired to the driver side reverse light. Here’s a few snaps during the day. Looks pretty bright so far. Yeah it’s awesome. She is on some deals page on Facebook and gets all sorts of wild deals. Nothing in particular just random stuff. She asked if I wanted it and got it for me. Well I haven’t installed it yet, but got it in the mail today. Wife got me an LED tailgate light strip. She said it was $15 and knew I had been looking at them so why not?!? It’s a knock off brand but who cares at the moment so keep the negative comments to yourself. It seems pretty bright as I just hooked it up to ensure functionality. It has all the functions like turn signals and reverse lights too. Seems pretty sturdy and bright but we shall see how long it lasts. Here’s a few happy snaps. How did you mount them? Did you drill through the steps? Are these the clear or diffused ones? I read some reviews on Amazon and it sounds like it has a screw hole in the middle so you could bolt/screw it through any surface. They look really good and seem to put out a ton of light. Are these the steps with the built in LEDs or did you put some of the button LED lights in there? I was going to order a set of the 23mm LEDs lights to install in the step pockets. Nice. Sort of like I got my paint matched grille and headlights for $100. The guy wanted $80 for the lights because of some rock chips.
