  1. Your dealer is correct but you will pay a $20 monthly fee to ATT for the data to be used on your truck. I’ve been there and done that. It was a MAJOR PITA to get the truck removed and canceled off my att plan. It took numerous phone calls and several months before it was finally removed. By using the onstar service you can cancel and add it at will or month to month. Plus I can add it and remove it from my phone using the onstar app. I feel it’s MUCH easier than using the ATT data from my phone plan. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Not sure on the mileage question, but your GPS is not reliant on WiFi. My truck has the GM navigation and I think it sucks balls. I’d much rather use google or Apple maps. More known addresses and faster recognition in my experience. Also, I purchased an update for my factory Nav a year after I bought it and it was the biggest waste of money I’ve ever spent. Unless there have been HUGE improvements made to it since then, I will never give GM another dime for their crappy Nav system. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. It was the bottom spacer from a 2.25” procomp level lift. To me the angles look fine and nothing seems to be in a bind or awkward position. I’ve got 66,000 on the truck and 62000 of those are with the previous lift. I’m gonna run it for a little while and see where things go. The dealer does all my services so if they start to see something abnormal, I’ll remove the bottom spacer and take the rear blocks out to get the stance right. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. It’s actually just under a 1/2” spacer. The angles look okay to me and the shop that put them on said everything looked much better with the shocks than the level lift kit. Here’s some pics. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. I just measured my truck. I am exactly one inch higher in the back than the from. I have a 2” block in the rear with 5100’s and up front I have 5100’s set st max height with a 1/2” spacer on bottom. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  8. I finally got my 5100’s installed on the front yesterday. I had the upper 2” spacer removed and kept the lower .5” spacer in. The truck is sitting st the same height maybe just a bit higher in the front. The ride is stiffer by a smidge but the handling is much better. I feel it soaks up the joints and holes in the roads much better now. I am very pleased with the results so far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  9. So I bought a new bushing and went to install it. Turn out I figured out why it keeps breaking and had to tell the dealer. The part the bushing goes onto is bent. When I installed the new bushing it immediately popped and broke once I tried to install it in the hinge. The one side of the bushing mount is bent for some unknown reason. I’m thinking the dealership did this one of the four times they replaced this piece under warranty. They are checking into whether that mount is sold separately and are supposed to call me back. It better be covered by the bumper to bumper (factory style) extended warranty I purchased from them or there is going to be fire works. I’ll keep everyone posted on the outcome. 11. I will look for that seal the next time I am at the store. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. The dealer sounds like they are going to fix mine one more time. We’ll see. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. That is a good observation and suggestion. I will remove it today and replace the bushing myself to see if that fixes the issue. I also purchased a DeeZee tailgate assist to help prevent this in the future. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. Has anyone else had issues with the tailgate damper breaking on their 1500? I’ve had mine replaced 4 times now and it just broke again, less than a week since being replaced. It’s the piece on the passenger side that keeps breaking. I go to open the tailgate and hear a pop and the gate slams open. My dealer is getting irritated st me for this and I have no control over it. Here’s a pic of the broken piece. Any suggestions on what to do or tell the dealer? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. So the rubber boot is supposed to be located on the bottom? I’ve never heard or seen this on shocks before. If that’s the case, I need to change my rears around. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  16. It’s the location used when a factory trailer brake controller is installed. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. This may be a stupid question, but how much “colder” is the air with a CAI? I have the torque app and when I look at the intake temp it is almost always with in 1-2 degrees of the ambient air temp. So with that being said, do they really flow that much better than stock to make up for their price tags? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. Here’s a current pic of the truck too. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. So I recently purchased the 5100’s for my truck a 2015 Sierra 1500 crew cab. I currently have 2” blocks out back and a procomp 2.5” level lift up front. I would like to keep the rear lift on but still have a slight amount of rake to the truck for when pulling a trailer. When I install the 5100’s should i keep the lower 1/2” spacer and set the 5100’s at max height? I’m looking for some suggestions here since I don’t want to install and remove several times to get the right ride height I’m after. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
