  6. i ran them out the back of the cab through the vent and they ground to the frame where there is a hanger that holds the ebrake cable i believe, I ground down to raw metal, but with that said there are not very many good places to ground it. i've been thinking about running my grounds under the frame up to my ground distribution. one issue as well is I did the big 3 upgrade with a ground distro block 3 1/0 cables then one that runs through the current sensor the battery. some people swear by bypassing the current sensor to get more grounds to the battery, I have not tried it, I think you need the pcm controller by usa alternators to do so. Thoughts?
  7. Thanks for the reply guys, I agree maybe grounding, ive got 2 1/0 to the frame at the moment, i was thinking of running them completely up the the engine bay and connecting it to my ground distrobution.
  8. Hello everyone. I have an extensive stereo I did in my 2017 1500. 2 highs amps, DSP, Rockford bass amp. Active focals in the front, focal coax in the rear, 2 sundown 8's in a ported box with the rear seat lift. insane amount of zero gauge, 300A us alternators. I did the big 3 to a SMD distrobution block but used 1 zero gauge running through the power sensor. battery has been upgraded to a northstar. there is a zero gauge running the bass amp, and another zero to distrobuion for the 2 highs amps and dsp. then I have 2 zeros running to the frame out the back of the cab. When i really turn it up sometimes the stereo will stop playing, dash will cutout then everything will come back on with very low volume and I can turn it back up and will happen again. It has to be something with power draw. I was thinking of putting the stock alternator back in to see if it happens. Any thoughts would be great! thanks for your help guys.
