  1. That looks great. The subs don't hit the back seat at all??
  2. Update.... Recently spoke to a local mechanic that I've known for awhile. Described everything to him and he thinks it's a bad bearing from a pulley. When I accelerate on the highway hard I hear a whining sound, not a squealing sound like a bad belt would produce. He said it would be a good idea to check the belt anyway. I'll provide more updates soon.
  3. ok update.... Went to a local mechanic that I know and trust. When I described the noise of the whine associated with the louder ticking noise that has developed he told me that it's most likely not the belt but the belt might have to be looked at just in case. It's most likely a pulley with a bad bearing. I'm going to get my oil done this friday and have him look at it. I'll provide any updates.
  4. I hear mine loud and clear especially from inside the cabin while accelerating. It sounds like an old sewing machine. It never had that noise before about a week ago and I'm at 62K miles.
  5. I'm hearing the ticking sound but from the passenger side of the engine. I also hear a slight whine from the engine from inside the cabin while accelerating onto the highway. Due to that "whine" sound, I felt comfortable thinking that it was the belt and at 62K miles like what I have now would be a good time to check it. What are your opinions? I never heard the ticking sound until recently. It honestly has me concerned. Started about a week ago.
  6. Ok reading this still has me worried. I have a 2015 Silverado 1500 5.3L with 62,000 miles and the ticking just started up recently. It was never present before, repeat, NEVER present before. How can that be and also be normal? This honestly has me worried that I have a bad lifter and what that can cost me down the road. I purchased my truck in late 2015 and literally put highway miles on it since due to the distance of my job from home. I baby my truck honestly, never raced it. You can look at my profile and see what I've done to it. Also no tunes whatsoever. I'm truly concerned
  7. My 2015 1500 came with the stock bumper, no foglights. I want to swap it to the bumper with foglights but alot of the ones I'm seeing on ebay for example come with the parking sensors. Since my truck didn't come with parking sensors what would be needed to make this happen and more importantly is it even worth it to install the parking sensors and simply keep looking for a bumper with foglights minus the parking sensors??? Simply curious.
  8. Does anyone know how to make a standup style bazooka tube for a powerful 8in subwoofer, ie: Sundown subwoofer ????
  9. I'm interested because I have a storage bin under the rear seat of my double cab and have no where to put a sub until I came across this post. I was even considering just putting a bazooka tube, standing up in the middle of the floor of the back seat since I rarely ever have anyone back there let alone 3 people.
  10. Then I'm all in. What do I need?
  11. The power features that I have are to move the mirrors up down left and right, only.
  12. Ok when I mean the folding feature, I mean the mechanically folding feature, not manually folding because I don't want to be reaching all the way over to the passenger side to do it everyday. Sorry if not clear enough the first time. If this is possible I'm sincerely interested.
  13. I have a 2015 1500 2WT. I wanted to install the towing mirrors but the only thing stopping me is that I live in a condo building and park in the garage. the entrance of the garage is just enough (save a few inches) for me to get in with the basic stock mirrors. I would love the towing mirrors but with the folding feature. I'm hoping this is possible and what would I need.... Thanks. P.S. I would need everything, that meaning the turn signal lights, wires, etc etc.
  14. Really was thinking of getting these along with the extension arms since I'm going to lift my truck anyways. How much did you get yours for and did you do the plug and play or wire it yourself?? Also, I heard that they're really meant for the Crew Cab and I have a Double Cab. Do I need to do anything special so that it lines up correctly or what???
