Within a few days I just went on line and requested an new account with Capital One. My Marcus account is still completely screwed up. No confidence. The cards I eventually received went into the drawer.

FYI. Had the GM Card since 1993. GM in their typical wisdom picked Marcus Goldman Sachs as the bank to replace Capital One which has administered the card since HSBC. They had months to prepare for the changeover. They claimed you could continue to use the existing cards. Well the day arrived, all three of our cards were turned off. Tried to call Marcus GM over 20 times. 4-5 hour wait time. Went on for two weeks. Still don’t have a working GM card. Long story short, I’ve sent for a Capital One card. Bye bye GM. Bye bye GM trucks. Too many problems. No service. Beware of Marcus GM. Customer service is non existent.

False misfire flashing MIL An update here for anyone still having trouble with this. There is an additional calibration released approx 09/24/21 to address L84 10 speed vehicles with this problem after the listed bulletin has been performed. My truck did it after the bulletin. Not sure if the existing bulletin will be updated with a new version, probably. A note on this: I only had the false misfire at about 105F or so with a half a tank or less fuel fill. It may not occur on most of these trucks except under certain conditions. It looks like some dealerships are confusing this issue with the pushrod lifter issue. So unless you have noise or an actual misfire condition, try this first. This is not a noticeable misfire, just an over sensitive calibration for the firing mode that is occurring.

Mat Benjamin, any bulletin number from your work order to post. I found the PI but not the bulletin. It looks like the dealers are changing lifters and wasting peoples time instead of updating software.

Found this on a competing site: this is a “too sensitive” misfire calibration issue as mentioned above. PIP 5809 2020 and 2021 5.3l misfire bulletin with revised calibration to follow

As mentioned above, after running the fuel tank almost empty, then refilling at a different brand station, have gone one week or more without a misfire code. Did go to the dealership so they could pull the history on this. Just the P0300. I believe fuel related. Make sure to run the tank empty. I tried refilling a couple times (to top off) previously and it didn’t seem to fix it.

Mine has the same thing. These are my thoughts on my 2021 5.3l Sierra. Just started this issue a week or so ago. I noticed mine at low speed (maybe 10-18mph) after sitting with the engine idling. This is under very hot conditions. 110 plus ambient and high under hood temps. This is just staying at this speed in the neighborhood. One thing I have changed was fuel brands. I was using maverick branded gas 88 octane. I changed back to Exxon Mobil after running the maverick fuel fill almost completely empty. I haven’t had enough time to check it completely but I’m wondering if maybe too high alcohol content or RVP fuel. You never know what you’re getting. maybe gm has the misfire algorithm too sensitive? Also I’m not sure what speed the skip fire (dfm) starts to work? as of today the light has not come back on. So as a first change, maybe run the tank empty snd switch to a top tier fuel or at least a different brand
