Well. I did some more calculating. Think it’s going to be around 4°. Read that the leaf spring bolts need to be replaced as they are torque to yield. Anyone know if that is the same for the leaf pack bolt as well as the torque specs? Also if there is a part number for it? Found part numbers for the u bolts and nuts. 15872657 11549170

Just decided to put a lowering shackle on the truck as it has been getting decent comments aside from the shims needing flipped and sure enough have the same issue with vibrations. Dropped it the full 2”. Here is my problem. I have no shim on pass side and driver side looks to be a real small flat shim. Transfer case u joint angle is down 5.3* and the rearend angle is also down but 1.1-1.3 *. Am I correct in thinking that a 6* shim is needed to point the rear up to oppose the 5.3* down angle of the transfer case? To be within a degree. I didn’t check angle before as I planned on flipping shims. But since there weren’t ones to flip I couldn’t even do that. Has anyone else had this strange shim setup from factory? Also just seems excessive in the shim angle needed.

Got it. So it will be no different than the American versions. That’s cool they can get you setup then. Here in the Midwest there are more than enough idiots that drive around at night without their lights on.

Just a curiosity question, why would you want to turn your lights off at night? Just while sitting running or something like that?

Back on target here. Looks like the only thing left off your list was the new hood or cover or whatever that thing is called. Anymore ideas on cost or time frame of that. Seems so far to be around the $1200 range. Which isn’t bad. To answer others questions. I would expect this to be no different than the suv versions as far as info showing up. There is a decent amount that can show. I have only messed with the suv ones so... Viktorrocks15 please correct if wrong here. Call info speed directions station info i think a couple other things would be cool if the kids inclometer would show but I doubt there is enough space.

Sweet. I most likely will be in as well. Family member had a Buick and I freaking loved the HUD.

Is the visor and the hood the same thing here? Also anyone think there would be any issues with the listed HUD and an ‘18 model diesel? When I look up that part number, more times than not it stops at ‘17 in the descriptions. Regardless. I would probably be interested in the dash HUD visor or whatever it is called.

Finally. Someone has done it. Been wanting to see this one these trucks for years now. Interested once all the parts are ironed out.
