  1. Did anyone ever figure this out? I think the OP wanted to upgrade what already is installed so it looks like factory installed but up to standards for this century. A couple other guys here sounded like they wanted to do the same thing. I have researched it a bit. Amazon sells different circuit boards that are USB to 12-24V or just 12-24V to 5V and up to 5A. I bought a few and tested them cause lots of Chinese stuff has made up numbers for the specs. I'm fixing to deconstruct my port assembly to see what I can fit in there to improve it without losing any factory capacity. The only thing that it has though is data transfer, which is slow as ****** anyway. That's another topic though.
  2. Hi, I'm looking for the breakdown of the plug for the HVAC controls under the radio display. I have a 2015 Silverado 2500HD 6.6 High Country. I have 9 volts on one of the wires. I just wonder if it's supposed to be that way since everywhere else there is supposed to be power has 12V. This was the closest topic to what I'm looking for. It's the wire I'm pointing to. It's grey or green (I can't tell) with a yellow stripe. It's the one next to the black ground wire in the corner. The plug goes into the back of the HVAC controls. Thank you to whoever knows.
