hey there i have a 2014 single cab 4x4 silverado and i noticed that my reverse lights do not come on at all not even when unlocking truck with keyfob. my dome lights work as normal and ived checked all the fuseses and they are all good but i have not checked if i have power going to them. i do know that on my tow mirrors the clearance lights would turn on ( i did the mod of using a wire connecting cargo and reverse lights together) whenever i would put the truck in reverse or unlock it with the keyfob. so im thinking that the bcm is working im just not getting power to the bulbs at the taillights. my break/turn signal lights work as normal just not reverse. is there any other thing i could do to fix this? could there be something wrong with the module that is next to the spare? maybe the trailer relay is not working? two days ago i pulled an rv and all lights on the rv worked so im thinking that the relay is fine but its a thought. from some of the research i have done i did see something about a back up light switch on the transmission, could that be it? any help with this would be great, i dont know what to do about it
