  2. Hi...ive got the light bar sitting at home... if I removed 1 or 2 of the active shutters do you believe I could get the light bar mounted behind the grill without cutting the vertical slats ? Also I didn't get the mounting brackets. Do you happen to have the center distance of the 3 bolts on either side of the rad... I work in a fab shop so making my own isn't a problem
  3. I'm installing as per oem installation. Tp2....this is a quote as to What is needed for wiring the relay and isolator. With those items installed you have completed the install of the new hardware. Now it's time to tackle the wiring aspect. There are only 3 wires we need for this. Switched 12V (only hot when key is in ACC), constant 12V (always hot), and ground. Orange wire is used for switched 12V, red/wh is constant 12V, and black is ground. The two 12V wires will come from the fuse block and the ground will come from the passenger side head. The orange wire is technically the "ignition 3" circuit and is controlled by the BCM..
  4. Can I test this from the top side where the fuses are or do I have to remove it to access the x50 connectors underneath.
  5. I was hoping to use an open pin or circuit. Is this possible... I want to make sure I don't mess up anything in the bcm.. the electronics seem pretty touchy.
  6. Everything I got was cheap , as in not directly from gm , but mouser and a few others. Making the cables myself (1/0). Now what I'm looking for is 12v switched in the engine bay ??
  7. GM P/N 12135194). GM calls this a "secondary auxiliary relay". I've got a single battery but I'm upgrading.
  8. Hi guys.. hope you don't mind me asking a question related to the dual battery... I'm running a factory isolator which needs a 12v and a 12v switched. My truck being a 2018 there don't seem to be alot of information regarding this... is there a switched 12v in the under hood

  10. I also need a switched source for my duel battery setup , can anyone point me in the direction of which fuse I could use a fuse block tap under the hood ?
  11. Hi. I'm new to the site and a little late to this party but I'm installing a second battery in my 2018 Silverado . I'm using the OE isolator and need to hook it up using a 12v source and also a 12v switched source. There seems to be alot of information on gmt900 but not the newer style trucks. Does anyone have information on tapping the under hood fuse box to get the power? It's quite different than the previous gen. Thanks
