  1. Im told by a friend that this issue only affects the AAM built axles and not the GM built and designed axles. Like someone already said, it's a clearance issue between the stub shaft and the center pin. It goes away in auto or 4x4 because you lock the front axle and all of thos components spin together at the same speed. They spin independently when unlocked which causes the shaft to rub and the noise. They are working on a fix for these axles. He also said they axle assembly replacement is hit or miss.
  2. Why is anybody making a big deal about this?? It literally puts a small dimple in the bottom of the frame that has zero affect on the truck. It doesnt cause a single issue unless you crawl under your truck and look for a small dent and that bothers you.
  3. This has been an issue since the T1 launched. They are replacing the assembly. There were some issues during manufacturing that allowed metal debris from machining to get trapped inside of it. The issue has been corrected but there are alot of early built trucks that could have the issue. Shouldn't take too long to get the replacement though.
