  1. I have tried this but it didn't fix my problem. I will definitely try again! One problem I was having is that the ringer volume in the truck was low and I would not hear it ring but just see it on the display. I found a way to help this but I don't know if it is a long term fix yet. What I did was have someone call my cell phone when connected to the truck with bluetooth. While the phone is ringing, before I answer it, I was able to turn the volume knob on the radio and turn the ringer volume up in the truck. Someone had said that there were different volume settings for the music and ringer volume. But I could not find a way to adjust the ringer volume other than this. Once I get out of the truck though, the ringer volume on the phone resets to the current volume setting on the truck audio. I am still checking the ringer volume on my iphone and seeing how it changes based on the audio volume level in the truck.
  2. The calls are missed when you leave the truck. The phone volume can be wide open when you get in the truck and will automatically go to zero when it connects to bluetooth. When you get out of the truck it stays at zero. I do not set my iphone to vibrate unless I switch it to silent. So when you get out of the truck with the volume changed to zero, it does not ring or notify you of any text or emails unless you turn the volume up when you get out of the truck. This is why the calls are missed. I have not found any setting on the truck or my iphone to change this.
  3. I have a 2019 Silerado. Same problem. When connected to bluetooth in the truck, the volume turns down but does not turn up when exiting the truck. I think it is the safety nazis at GM that have set the infotainment system to cut the volume down when on bluetooth so that if you receive a text or email you not receive the notification and look at it. It is a major pain. Have missed a bunch of calls. GM should not do this. It should be an option and be able to disable by the vehicle owner!
