It looks that way to me Only one part number for the harness and it fixed the temperature sensor problem. Although I have a new problem and the truck had to be towed back to the dealership because they are idiots i guess. Hopefully it was enough to burn the tranny and they can just replace the damn thing. Feel like they at least owe me a free truck wash at this point lol. Sent from my SM-N950U using Tapatalk

I have an issue with mine same year, 8 speed 5.3, it reads really low. I am hoping to find anymore information on this too.

Hi all, I have the 8 speed transmission on my 2016 1500 z71, and on most days the transmission temp will read very low when I first start her. I live in Pearland TX (Houston) and it is very hot here, and even during hot days when I first start the truck it will read much below ambient temperature, the other day it ready negative, and it was atleast 90 degrees outside. Has anyone else seen this issue? Not sure if it causes my truck lunging when I first drop it into gear (reverse or forward), even after letting it idle down. I have read a few things involving the wiring harness, and a guy at the dealership I spoke to mentioned something about some type of valve in the tranny cooling lines. Just looking to get some feedback, and see if anyone has had any issue similar?
