  1. Still looking for tow mirrors. I was a day late on the ones in above post. I seem to always be a day or two late
  2. I'll probably just end up buying new, but thought I'd try this first (shipping usually kills any deal)But never hurts to ask I'm needing tow mirrors for my 2017. Towing with these stock mirrors is a real pain. Right now I have the stock (black) DL8 mirrors but I want to get power folding. Either looking at OEM (DLQ?), Boost auto or the Trail Ridge from 1A auto. I see lots of others around, but I think I want to stick with one of those 3. I'll also probably have to hit up @pgamboa for any harness (and switch?) or attempt the harness mods on my own Bill
  3. Oh, ok thanks,, good to know. I just saw on the website where it said "we are a non-US seller and your order may be charged a foreign transaction fee"
  4. Looks good! Very tempting, especially with the additional 10% off ($82.79). I just wish the seller was located in the US.
  5. I'm going to be needing tow mirrors within the next month for my 2017 and my only hold up is power folding or manual folding. (Well that and whether to go with OEM, BoostAuto or the 1Aautoparts mirrors) Has anyone here bought manual folding and then regretted not getting power folding or bought power folding and realized you really didn't need that option?
  6. I've never put mine on, but keep it with the owners card. I have never been asked about it by cops or inspection station. I've had trucks at least for he past 25 years in PA Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk
  7. I know with the older models, the windshield trim would cause that problem. My 2004 was pretty bad at around 70 mph. Maybe it could be the same with the 2015? Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk
  8. I'm guessing the only aftermarket, power folding tow mirrors worth buying would be the Boost Auto(which aren't much less than OEM) or the 1Aauto Trail Ridge (https://www.1aauto.com/chevy-gmc-mirror-set-trail-ridge/i/1amrp01786) If I were to buy those Trail Ridge mirrors and your harnesses, would I need to have the mirrors shipped to you first? I'm still holding out for a deal on OEM's, but it's not looking to good (I apparently can't check the For Sale section here until I surpass 50 posts. I have a ways to go)
  9. Yeah, I guess it's really not bad. Truck was built 6/23/17 and sold on 8/29/17 so just under 30,000 miles in just over 2 years. Went into dealer inventory on 9/23/19 with 28,401 and I purchased 10/8/19 with 29,813. I was just going by some of the 2016's I looked at with lower mileage. I will probably do about 5000 a year, if that Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk
  10. I thought I had already posted a photo, but I guess not. I traded in my tired and rusty old 2004 Silverado and bought this 2017 Double cab Z71. The miles were a little high for a 2017, but certainly not bad at 29,800 (build date 6/23/2017) I wasn't sure I wanted another black truck, but when my wife saw it, she said it was the one. Its not loaded with options, but does have the All Star Edition options package. I've had it for about 3 weeks now and have added a Line-X bed liner, tonneau cover, window tint, mud flaps, catch can, front/rear black bowties, DiaboLEW tune (still working in that 150 miles) and a few smaller things. It's like night and day compared to my 2004, in a good way! Sent from my SM-T810 using Tapatalk
  11. Are there any power fold tow mirrors out there that look like OEM (w/signal in glass) in the price range of the 1A auto mirrors? OEM are almost $1,000 for the pair and the Boost Auto ones aren't much less. If 1A would put the signal in the glass, I'd order today. I have so many different part numbers written down that I get a headache trying to decipher lol. I have a 2017 with DL8 mirrors and would ideally like power folding OEM which I believe are part numbers 84228900 and 84228899 (black) or manual folding 23372182, which are half the price of power folding. I see many cheaper variations out there, but it seems you get what you pay for with these mirrors, so I want to make sure to get it right the first time
  12. Ok, thanks. I'd love to get a set of those, especially the power folding. I'll probably go with the OEM manual folding but now I know the part number of the power folding. The Boost auto mirrors are just too damn expensive for aftermarket and I just don't like the looks of the 1A auto mirrors (unless they would incorporate the turn signal into the glass)
  13. Yes, just email your VIN to [email protected]
  14. I've been wanting tow mirrors since I bought my new to me 2017! This is a great thread with some very good information, but now I have more questions than ever. I haven't read through all 136 pages, but did read the first 20 or so and the last 30 and I'll try to read more before asking alredy answered questions. It seems like the biggest confusion on adding tow mirrors is on the harnesses that are needed
