So I bought a car today and was going to pay cash, they gave me $2,000 more off for financing with GM Financial for 6 month and a day minimum. It’s a 6 year loan at 6.99. Verbally they told me I had to keep it 6 months and a day. Are you saying I don’t? I don’t see it any where in the contract that I’d forfeit the $2,000. I see where it says there’s a acquisition fee penalty prior to 6 months. I’m not sure what that would be. I figure I’ll pay 90% the first month, and then 5 equal Auto Pay payments. I’ll then call for a pay off the day after 6 months is up. I’m praying there isn’t a huge “acquisition fee or some other penalty.
