I have similar problem with my 2014 Silverado. I changed out the battery but then I was tightening the cable on the neg post and let my wrench touch one of the posts on that bettey junction box that sits on top of the battery. There was a spark (duh). Then when I started the truck, there was a message and I had no power steering. I assume I blew a fuse, but can't find one the says power steering or anything like it.. At least not in any of the three fuse boxes I found in the manual.
