  1. replaced crankshaft sensor all good now. Thanks for the help.
  2. Ok washed the underside of the truck with dawn a sprayer and hose to remove residual oil. Checked the connection to the camshaft sensor again. Checked the timing chain by turning the crank shaft and watching the distributor got 2 degrees of movement on the crankshaft I think that's within normal. Still have sputtering from 1k to 1.75k rpm and above 3.2k rpm.
  3. Ok Ill try to make it short Prior to this problem replaced the fuel pump and filter less than 1k ago and getting good fuel pressure. 1999 k1500 suburban the the vortec 5.7 auto 118k Just ran out of oil, check gauges light came on and the oil dropped to 0 pulled over and ended up towed home. Found leak at connection to radiator and tightened and filled with oil, started right up. Then had problems with truck stumbling. Then threw codes to #2 misfire and camshaft sensor p0339. Found #2 sparkplug cracked its replaced and replaced wire set also replaced the camshaft sensor. Compression on all cylinders the same. Reset the truck checked all fluids ok, clean air filter, and over ½ tank of gas still stumbling now throwing p0339 and p0341 camshaft codes. Idols fine and starts fine just stumbles when on the gas. Thanks for any ideas on what to do next.
