  1. Thanks for the link. So if I understand this right, I need to: 1. Get the switch panel I want (in this case the panel that has the traction control and cargo light switches, then 4 aux switches) 2. Connect a wire into the plug that is already present that connects to the back of the switch panel that is associated with the desired switch 3. Run this new wire to the ground side of a relay (latching or not, depending on whether the switch I'm using is momentary or not) 4. Power the relay with either switched ignition power or battery power 5. Connect the output of the relay to the lights I'm trying to hook up Is that correct?
  2. I'm interested in adding some exterior lights to my truck, and want as clean of an install as possible. My truck has the switch bank under the radio that only has traction control and cargo lights, and I believe I have a part number that has these two switches plus the 4 aux switches (GM 23145158). I've got a few questions for anyone that may or may not have done this already: If I put this new switch bank in, will whatever harnesses that are plugged in to the current one just plug right in to the new one? Or will the new one have a way for me to tap in to the switches themselves to provide power and ground? Is there some kind of wiring harness I can buy to limit the amount of wiring I have to do myself? If I do not need to tap into the switches myself, where are the outputs from the aux switches located? Will my traction control and cargo lights still work properly if I swap switch banks? I've found a couple threads on the topic but they seem to be very long and all over the place, and I'd like some concise information if anyone is interested in helping me. Thank you! Riley
