  1. Haha, yeah I'd say they have really restricted some things. Thank you for the help, I'll look into splicing in to get some power in there.
  2. I thought that same thing, unfortunately it doesn't work either. With the usbs in the dash unplugged, the USB ports in the console do in fact get power but the screen lock up still happens and now I'm down 2 more charging ports. What about just wiring the ports in the console to have basic power instead? How would I go about that?
  3. The truck has the dual usb port in the front below the radio, no SD. I wanted to add the 2 USB, aux, SD block to the inside of the center console under the lid.
  4. Nice! I thought about leaving mine like that also but I really wanted those extra USB ports lol .. oh well.
  5. The extension harness is part number 84376073. it plugs into the back of the USB block on the bottom of the center stack beneath the buttons for traction control, hazards, etc. There should be an open port for it already. this then plugs into the main harness from under the front passenger seat. The cable should be located under the cup holder/tray. BUT... I just completed this swap also. My 2020 Silverado TB LT had the jump seat/bench seat and I switched it to the full center console without the wireless charger option. In addition to the extension harness, I purchased the new wire harness that plugs in under the front passenger seat and is responsible for powering the anti-theft module (mounted under the cupholders), the light in the bin, the antenna for the key fobs and/or buttons on the handles, and the rear USB ports. With all things plugged in, including the extension harness, the USB block in the bin gets power and charges phones as intended, however the radio screen/infotainment screen stays stuck on the Chevy bowtie screen. With the USB block unplugged, the infotainment center works normal. Very frustrating but I hope there is a remedy for this issue. I reached out to some friends at a GM dealer in service and they seem to think that GM hasnt released the programming necessary to make the truck accept the newly installed USB block since it was not originally equipped with it.
  6. I just did the exact same swap on mine as well. Love it, and worth it. For the Center console USB/SD car block, you will need the extension wire harness (part number 84376073) goes from the back of the USB block (there will be an open port) on the dash under the buttons to the main harness plug which should be located beneath the cupholders. This extension will power/connect the USB block inside the center console to the truck. Now, with that said, the issue I am having is that the infotainment screen gets stuck on the Chevy bowtie logo with everything plugged in/connected. I have narrowed the issue down to just the USB block in the console. When is has power, the truck doesn't like it. I am trying to find a fix for this... assuming it's a programming issue of some king. Some way to tell the truck that the SD/USB block is installed.... thoughts??
  7. Hey everyone, I have a 2020 TB LT. I am sure this is just some kind of calibration of some kind for the braking system but want to ask you all and see what you think. The issue/non-issue is that after I park and turn the truck off, after about 20-30 seconds (sometimes not at all) there will be a clicking noise coming from the driver area, underneath. I waited inside the truck once to see if I could narrow down what it might be, turns out I can feel the clicking in the brake pedal if i just lightly rest my foot on the pedal. It seems to do its thing for a few seconds (<10s) and then stops. Thoughts?
