  1. Iam in ky, edmonton ky is like 15 minutes away.
  2. Yeah thats what ive been debating. I'll probably just keep my orignal window i don't want my interior messed up. Good luck with your truck man, if the dealer cant patch you up, let me know and ill tell you what i did step by step.
  3. I didnt know that, so maybe i will get it installed then, if it ever comes in. Do you think the one i have now will get worse over time? Its not leaking at all spolier or rails. Hopefully they get yours done soon man its so frustrating. I opted to do the work myself. The man said it wouldn't void my warranty and i have a little bit of experience.
  4. What i should have asked is, how many of you all have had there rear window replaced just for it to crack again?
  5. That pretty much its a flawed design?
  6. So you're saying its pretty much pointless, it'll just crack again?
  7. So my rear window is cracked but i sealed it up and the spoiler bolts, it does not leak anymore. my dealer said he would replace the window he has seen where the plastic frame is cracked in 3 places. Is it just going to crack again if i get it replaced? Or should i just go ahead and do it. Id hate to see my interior get torn up just for the window frame to crack again. Thanks in advanced fellas and hope yall get yours fixed.
  8. @LeevonI admire your commitment and work, awesome job, iam going to do some of your fixes to my truck, just one question man, are these the new nuts that gm is supposedly using they're black washers with silver nuts and have teeth ("teeth" because i dont know the correct term) on the outer edge, or should i re-use the silver flat no teeth slightly larger in diameter ones that are what came with truck ? Wish i had a pic of the original nuts. I got the new ones from my dealer, but i just don't trust them. They messed up the tsb pretty bad, they just squirted in sealant didn't remove the spoiler nothing, kinda glad they didn't, they would have messed it up even worse. i hope they gave me the correct nuts, just want to make sure.
  9. Are these the redesigned nuts? Just got them today from my local body shop. Wish i had the original ones i took off the truck, there somewhere in my shop/garage. They were a little bit wider and smooth.
  10. Nelly13 ill ask him to order me some also! Yeah these t1s are badass, i love my truck man, these little problems are annoying, but hell, nothings perfect or made to last forever. Lets enjoy it while we can. Hopefully you'll get yours back soon.
  11. @Nelly13 iam asking becuase i just fixed mine not too long ago, put a ton of blue gasket maker around the nut, hopefully it doesnt leak. The dealer gave me some nuts to put on there, he also said they are a one time thing. The ones he gave me didnt look like the ones that came off the truck(they were smaller and different design), so i just reused the originals, time will tell.
  12. @Nelly13, what happens if you re-use them?
  13. Bamx31, iam with you there man, mine has to have the whole rear window replaced. Brand new 2020 LT TB, they have to basically disassemble the rear cabin, seats taken out, all trim removed, haven't even made the first payment. If they damage anything, they are replacing (plastic trim) or fixing it( paint damage). .
  14. Dunn, good to hear man. Lets hope it stays that way for ya.
  15. @JAP90, For me, its the rail in which the rear window slides in thats cracked in about 4 spots that i can see. If yours isnt leaking i hope you're in the clear, i dont wish this on nobody, its annoying, and almost ruins the new car feeling. But ive heard of peoples windows leaking months after buying, or maybe they just never noticed it leaking in the first place? Mine i noticed about a week after taking delivery, on a very rainy day. Luckily nothing got soaked in mine. I saw some drops running down the temp tag lol, it was the worst feeling, not what you wanna see in your dream truck. Just keep an eye on it bud.
  16. @hotrodz37, Iam glad they patched yours up good and made it right, iam dreading the day i have to take my truck in to get the window replaced. I know they are gonna scratch it up inside and out. iam going to take a video of it, full exterior and interior. And what ever they mess up, they are going to fix and or replace (plastic trim). Iam not going to pay 50,000 dollars for beat up truck. I haven't even made the first payment yet. This sucks man.
  17. @Hotrodz37, mine is the fuyao e4, lol.
  18. Another picture of the shitty job they did.
  19. Cracks all over the frame inside and out, posted the pics so you all know what to look for. They are going to replace my rear window. No e.t.a as of today may 11th 2020. all under warranty no damage to anything headliner, seats, they are all good. Sorry to the guys having lousy customer service, I've known my service/body shop dept for years. They tried to reseal it first but the guy they put on the job, just squirted some rtv silicone in there, literally didnt even clean the excess. I did the job myself later that day, followed the tsb, my service manager said it wouldnt void my warranty and gave me a tube of the recommended silicone, They didnt even bother to follow the tsb. And i wasnt gonna let them ruin it even more, if you want something done right you have to do it yourself, But you cant blame a whole shop because of one moron. I stopped the leak for now, now just waiting on the replacement window.
  20. Add me to the list! Rear window seal has a kink in it. Still love my truck. Going to the service desk first thing in the morning. Interior is still fine no smell, nothing is wet, but with a running hose you can make it leak easily. 2020 trail boss lt bought in april 2020 dont know the build date yet.
