Hi, new to forums completely so hopefully this is in the right spot. I recently purchased a 2019 1500 5.3 z71 8 speed with 20,000 miles on it. I am running a 3” lift and 35x11 goodyear wranglers. Took it on some dirt trails today, nothing technical at all, a subaru could make it. I watched the transmission climb to 240 degrees and it didn’t go below 200 until I got back to the highway. My buddy was behind me in his 2011 1500 5.3 z71 6 speed with 120,000 miles on it with a 6” lift and 35x12.5 Ko2’s, no aftermarket trans cooler. His temp never went over 190. This seems extremely high and moreover strange for a new truck. Any ideas what’s going on?? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
