  1. after a little digging around, it looks similiar to this so im guna fully pull out the harness and see if theres any issues.
  2. thanks for the reply. yea i looked at that area pretty hard. i even disconnected the wiring harness where it plugs into the dash fuse panel and the door module and tested the continuity between the wires. 3 of the smaller wires (green, blue w/ white stripe and pink) didnt have continuity. So i cut and bypassed them with new wire from the panel to the module, but that didnt change anything. still didnt work.
  3. 2007 silverado crew cab 1500. Im new here, so bear with me. My door module (all the buttons on the drivers door) stopped working. an error would pop up saying "drivers door ajar" even when the doors closed. but i could open the door past a certain spot, while it was running, and the module would work, so i could roll down the windows, unlock the doors and turn seat heat on. But when I closed it, it would stop working again. Which, to me, sounds like a short in a wire. So i took the panel off the door and dug around, but i didnt see any frayed or cut wires. but once i put it all back together, the module doesnt work even if i open my door. i swapped the door module to the passenger side, and it worked, so the problem isnt the buttons. Any idea what this could be?! is there a relay that went bad? is it something with the door latch? pleaaase help me.
