Hi I’m looking to get some input on the L5P duramax engine. I currently have a 2020 Silverado 2500HD with the 6.6 gas. After some issues with this truck I’m just looking to get out of it. I’m looking at a 2019 2500HD high country duramax and was just wondering about reliability on that motor. Any and all input would be great. Thanks!

So I have a 2020 Silverado 2500HD and I just noticed today that every body panel has what looks to be rust spots. I can’t be the only one that has this. The truck is 7 months old with 8k miles.I bought it brand new with 11 miles on it and it was not like this before. Any one know what it could be or be caused by? It just snowed about 8 inches in my area. That’s why I found it strange. Definitely not dry lol

Hi. I am new to this forum and would appreciate any advice I can get. I have a 2020 Silverado 2500hd custom. I bought the truck brand new back in Aug. 2020 with 15 miles on it. It now has 7400. Whenever I put the truck in 4x4 and turn to the left or right the front end hops. It almost feels like I have a bad u-joint. My last truck was a 2018 1500 and it never did that And my truck before that, an 02 2500hd duramax with 220k miles also did not do that. Is this a normal thing for these trucks? Any info would be great and I would appreciate anyone with rude or non helpful comments to please keep them to yourself! Thank you guys in advance !
