  1. I have a 2016 Serria, 1500, base model, 2WD, 8’ bed. The side mirrors are cut at an angle on the bottom inside. This makes it a pain to use them to back up. My last GMC had square mirrors and backing up was not a problem. With these OEM side mirrors, I can not see my rear tires. Are there other model trucks I can get the mirrors from? Thanks for any info, Bill
  2. What years GM 20-inch 6 lug, factory/ OEM steel rims will fit on a 2016 Serria, 1500, base model, 2WD, 8’ bed? I have 17 rims and would like to put bigger tires on and do so on a budget. There is an U pull it yard not far from where I live. Thank you, Bill
  3. Hi, I need 8 GDI injectors for a 2016, Sierra 1500, 5.3 NON flex fuel. The dealer said injectors 1,3 and 8 were bad, but best to replace all of them. That I agree with. GM says I have 3 different injectors installed, low flow, normal flow, and high flow. I read on GM tech-link, that if the injector order were mixed up, the “normal flow” injector could be installed for all 8 injectors, but you could have fuel trim and emission problems. With 4 injectors per bank, what injector do I need two of? In what position does each injector go? Are each injector banks the same? Thanks for any help

GM Parts Giant.com has all 3 flows, new AC Delco injectors for $50 and $60. Rock Auto does not have all three different injectors in stock. I have read that a lot of people are having problems with their GDI’s. The local GMC dealer mechanic said GM removed the GDIs from the 5 year/60K mike power train warranty and put them under the Bumper-to-Bumper 36K mile warranty. He also verified what I knew about the fuel filter in the low-pressure fuel line, that is THE TRUCK DOES NOT HAVE ONE, DUH!!! Anybody besides me think this is a problem? I am sure most people on this site have changed fuel filters on their vehicles, BUT have you ever emptied the old filter into a clear glass jar? Even after a year you will NOT believe how much trash is in the filter. For those of you who have a vehicle, trucks are easier, weather permitting on your next fuel filter change, will you empty the contents into a clean clear glass container. (A plastic soda bottle will work for a short time, but not recommended)? Then take and post the pictures? I am seeing a Class Action Lawsuit. Is anybody else seeing it that way? Thanks for any help, especially on the fuel injector placement in the rail. Thank you, ZZsnowman
  5. I have never heard of different flow rate injectors on the same engine. Below is a link from GM TECH LINK, I got the impression it is an official GM site/posting. https://gm-techlink.com/?p=13185 Also, I am attaching a link to GM Parts Giant online. https://www.gmpartsgiant.com/parts-list/2016-gmc-sierra-1500_2wd/fuel_system_exhaust_emission_system/fuel_injector_rail.html Any thoughts? Thanks for any info.
