The truck was shaking and misfiring approx. a month ago - engine light flashing and stability light on. We took it in and was told based on miles we need to do a major tune up $1100. We completed all recommended maintenance on truck. The truck continued to act up we were now told it was a coil and sensor on # 7? $700 dollars + and drove a couple of days started shaking and misfiring again losing power. Now we are told same problem on 7 (keep in mind we just replaced coil and sensor) and now they said it is also number 4. Now quoted approx. 1800 to 2000 to fix. Kept truck at dealer and they are getting ready to replace # 4 coil and sensor. As they are starting the work they now state it is a valve problem and will cost approx. $5000 for repair. We do all regular maintenance on truck warranty ran out at after 5 years7/29/2020 again less than 75K miles. Any recommendations. I have contact customer compliance to check on any recalls. UPDATE : PICKED UP TRUCK today now they said IT IS THE LIFTERS. This truck has less then 75K miles and he said we might have a heavy foot?? We have never towed anything nor drove off road or even drive very fast.
