All my lights work by my driver side brake light do not. They work perfectly at night but will not work when turn signal is on and when brake pedal is pressed. I have checked the fuses under the hood and even put in new bulbs. I put a voltmeter and it seems like the black wire does not get any power when brake is pressed. On the passenger side harness the black wire gets 14 volts when brake pedal is pressed and 0 when not. Could it be tail light junction box?

Found the issue today. One connector to the power steering assist module had water in it and corroded one of the connector pins so bad it broke off and was causing it to loose power. Rigged it up with a piece of wire to make it work temporarily. All issues are gone but I do need a new assist motor and pigtail.

Did you ever get this fixed? I am having similar issues specially the mentioned communication issues.

Not yet. Ill see if I have a voltmeter with min-max setting on it.

I did got around 12.6 volts on each stud.

Got battery checked at both Autozone and Oreillys and they said its good. I put a voltmeter on it and its 12.6 when truck has been sitting and jumps up above 14 when running.

I did change it out. I looked out the old one and had no sings of it being burnt. Issue still not fixed. I turn truck on and cluster looks like its playing games with me from guages fluctuating to all kinds of lights flashing.

I have a 2014 Silverado 1500 5.3 with the following codes. Need help. I have changed battery cables, cleaned grounds, new distribution box, and got battery/alternator tested at Autozone. Abs C0110-06 U0077-00 U0140-00 U0136-00 C0710-4B U0151-00 ECM P0700-00 U0101-00 U0121-00 U0140-00 BCM U0073-00 U0100-00 U0101-00 U0121-00 U0131-00 Also U0074-00

About a week a go I took my 2014 Silverado 5.3 out for a drive and out of nowhere the gauges started going crazy. The brake, abs, and check engine light came on. There was also a message about servicing the power steering. Turned it off and let it sat for a while and all the lights were gone other than the check engine light. I drove it and the steering wheel was hard like I had no power steering. About 10 minutes into driving everything went away and truck drove like normal and gauges went back to normal. When I got home I put on the obd and got nothing but communication codes but they cleared after reseting. I have since cleaned all the grounds. There was two on the frame one by the driver side and one by the passenger behind the front wheel well. There was two on the dash one by the driver side tweeter and another by the passenger. Also cleaned one out that was in the back above the spare tire. Same issue after cleaning the grounds so I replaced the battery ground cable with another new oem from dealer. Still same issue. I turned on the truck in the drive way and about 15 mins in it started going crazy again with service brake and service power steering and check engine light lit up. Battery seems old but cranks up every time even after weeks of not driving it. I have ordered a new distribution box to see if that fixes the issue. Need some help fixing this issue. I figured if it was a bad module it just would not work from crank and not wait 15 minutes after crank to tell me its bad. I checked harness under frame and it looks good.

Where is the 2014 silverado steering wheel angle sensor wiring run to? From the sensor pigtail to where? Ebcm? Power steering motor? Dos not seem like it runs to the bcm after peeling most electrical tape off the wiring under driver dash.

Got codes u0126 and u 0151 on a 2014 silverado 5.3. Any ideas of what it could be. I already checked all ground contacts and most wiring issues mention on google searches and so far so good. Maybe bad ebcm abs module or power steering motor?

Anyone know what the gateway would be considered? Cant find anything about it in a 2014 silverado only in 17 and up.

Can anyone press that switch and see what code they get on OBD scanner? I dont have that switch rigged by my das looks just like that with code U0126.

I get stabilitrak message every time I turn on truck with code U0126 on OBD reader. I checked voltage and seems fine. I replaced the SAS module and tried to recalibrate but still got the light on dash. I also went through electrical manual and checked most ground points and they seem fine plus voltage seems good on actual SAS module connector. Any ideas? Could it be ABS module since my OBD scanner had the code under EBCM?
