Hey all, wondering if anyone has replaced their starter on the 2018 sierra v6. Mine went at 88000km. Tried switching it out today but had one hell of a time getting it out. Uncounted and Disconnected it very quickly, but spent 3 hours attempting to get the unit out from underneath the truck. There is too much stuff in the way, and I cannot figure out how to remove it.. any ideas? All the videos I see there is a ton of room when removing it and it comes out super easy. Not mine..

Hi guys, just got my truck. I noticed that when I park close to something, the backup sensors go off (normal), although when I put it in park and take the keys out, it continues to beep and does not shut off. I recently found out this morning that I can get it to shut off by turning the light knob to the left where the spring return power indicator is. Any ideas as to why this happens? Picture is of inside the truck, I’m not sure what the numbers are, a distance measurement of some sort I’m sure as this is where it beeps from, and also number get smaller as I get closer to an object. Thanks! Yeah I have seen some quite a few posts mentioning this. I won’t be trailering much, but maybe a roughly 3500-4000lb boat a few times a year up to the cottage that 3 hours away. From research I’ve done that should be no problem with the 4.3.

Haha yeah sorry guys for the no pictures or detail.. I pick it up tomorrow so here are the ones from the ad. It’s the base model 4.3L V6, but for what I need it for it will be great. I will most likely look at some wheels, tow mirrors, and window tints. I’m not sure if there are any interior upgrades or electronics upgrades that anyone recommends.
