  1. I read an article yesterday about the 2.7 turbo becoming the standard motor for the 2022 model year. It also said there was an increase of 20% torque from 350 to 420. The towing capacity stayed the same which I assume is based on transmission limits. Does anyone know what modifications were made to get these gains?
  2. Has anyone thought about adding an exhaust cutout after the down pipe. used with a switch of course so you could be smooth or braaaap. I read they add so much flow most turbo motors couldnt handle it but if ours is 1.5 bar already... thats what they were achieving when their motors after the install and then went boink. Not sure if you can just add more fuel like diesel engines. Its a fun truck for sure and the whistle makes me smile on the way to work.
