Hey Everyone,
I wanted to ask the question here before going off and doing something wrong.
I installed a Borla S-Type exhaust on my 2018 Sierra SLT. Everything lined up perfectly, except for the first exhaust hanger right after the cat. The hanger is too long and hits the frame when I take left turns and vibrates off it. It's pretty loud and sounds terrible.
I bought an exhaust tie just to try and pull the exhaust away which would move the hanger further away, however, there's nowhere to tie it back to. I attached a picture here just so you guys can see what's up. I've moved the rubber piece a few times to be in the correct position for the hanger but it just keeps sliding back into the position shown.
What do you suggest the best course of action to be here? Heat up the hanger and try to bend it?
