  1. Correction, it's an iPod not Pad. BTW: last year, @sswails and I spent weeks sharing our decades of speaker and amp expertise, to replace our Poor Sounding Bose Speakers. Every One Of Them !! They were all Bose China mfg. cheapies. As we each have different musical tastes, our speaker choices varied a bit, but the end results were incredibly better than the OEM Bose. Sad to say. Another Sad point is only a Three Band Equlizer in our GM. Take a look at a new Grand Cherokee, has a true Pro=Audio system adjustments I use in my home or pro recording studio. Gm /Bose should do a software re-design of this weak control system we have, and ditch the China Syndrome Speakers.
  2. Hi folks, this is where I have little expertise. Have an older iPad, had in my '16 GMC Denali HD plugged in the USB port and charger. Worked great. Now with the '24 HD and GM Smarter than most of us interfacing, how do I get it to play in the new system ? The USB charger works, but to wireless interface, I don't have a clue.
  3. Saying a prayer for all of us on this Cow Pie Allison issue. I invested so much in customizing my truck for work and mobile office, till retirement. To have it go down for weeks / months as I hear on a back-ordered part will kill my machinery service business. Same as my customers when the metal cutting machinery goes down, no parts to weld and product to deliver. Just did all the "Known" recalls at 12k mi., on my 2500 Duramax and gave my dealer service manager, printed copies of these terrible stories of downtime. Says he has not heard of the Allison issue. Really ?????????????????
  4. Are there a part numbers on the panel(s) that came in the kit you have?  I need the panels.  i have the kit with the knee bolster that isn't the right part for refreshed 24 or a 25...

  5. I agree. Just wanted to mention to @WV_Crusader, to check part numbers with a vendor, before ordering. As every site I saw, had no listing for the '24. In my case, my new '24 HD Front Ranchos are a bit lacking in control for my liking, compared to the Bill's I put on my '16 HD. With the Bill's in front, the bump stops were rarely hit. My other Big difference was the Max-Trailer option in this '24 rear leaf stack With Overloads. I carry the same weight of tools and equip. as in the '16, but had to add the Firestone Air Bags and anti-sway bar in the '16 to sort it out to handle well. The '24 HD with that spring pak, no bags needed, just added a rear 1.5" Roadmaster anti-sway bar, and good to go. Best Regards, KP.
  6. Search for posts and pix for tweeters. We put a bunch on there with pix for all speakers in our dull sounding Bose system, with another member @sswails. We replaced every Bose speaker, dash, A Pillars, dash corners, front doors rear doors top and bottom, and a Sub.
  7. See my post below, on the Kicker HideAway Sub Kit.
  8. I went with the Kicker Hide Away Sub, 200 watt. Comes with the remote, and adjustable crossover and attenuation on the amp itself. Tap into where the GM kit does, L.F. door speaker. Easy place wire harness feeds from rear passenger carpet door sill cover on my Bose system, possibly non-bose. Also can place it under the rear seat, and not loose storage. KP.
  9. Have been running the Kicker Hide Away Sub 200 watt, a month now. Sits on top the rear seat storage bin, just touches the seat underside, no loss of storage. All the Bass I need. Put the volume control inside the center console, with Velcro. Easy to fine tune level to taste. Choice to tap into signal, is either passenger front door speaker source wires, or the center console sub source. Both pairs of these wires are under the passenger rear scuff door sill plate plastic cover. I'm using the Front Right signal now. Will also try the Bose Sub center console signal at some point , as I think it has a better crossover HZ limit. A lot of mid range comes from the RF speaker signal. I'm out of space to post any more pix.
  10. See my replies also further on. I put outlets inside my center arm rest, ran power to passenger side fuse block, with a 15 amp fuse tap. Also The GM Upfitter Kit said not available for Denali and AT-4 until '25. I'd look at the aftermarket Aux-Panel. Don's Life GM You Tubes did a nice video on it. Easier to install than the OEM kit by far.
  11. Kerry here. I cannot post any more pix, as I seem out of file size to post any more. I put my dual cigar outlet inside the center arm rest. And another out side the rear center console facing rear seat by the floor. Ran power to the passenger side fuse panel to a 15 amp fuse tap, that always powered.
  12. I am out of space to add any pix.....guess I am put on a leash. I added a dual cigar lighter outlet inside my center arm rest. and another on the rear out side of it facing the rear seats. KP.
  13. I have a '24 2500HD with Max Trailer Pkg. that also came with those White Shocks. 7k miles on her. Put Bilsteins on my '16 2500HD, and used the 5600's. Were great , but now know the 5600's are for at least 1.5" Lifted applications. For Stock Ride Height Bilstein says to use the 4600's. Also said no difference in ride quality between these two IF the 5100 is installed at the designed Lifted Ride Height. The 5100 is a Longer Shock than the 4600, but both have same valving / dampening. I cannot add the pic of the Bilstein web page, as I am out of attachment space allotment. FYI: My local 4x4 specialty shop even said the "White Shocks" will move about 20%, before the dampening really kicks in. Which seems plause-able, as I found my new truck is a bit "floaty", compared to my previous Bilstein experience. Can't wait to put the 4600's on. Only part numbers I found are up to a '23 2500HD. Front 24-196437, Rear 24-196444.
  14. @Pryme, Give Crutchfield a call. I got a lot of great tech info from "Hunter", his direct line is : 434.218.6124. I think you have a WT Chev., with base radio, I have no exp. with. But "T" plug in harness adaptors are available for most vehicles, to not have to cut into a head unit wire harness, to add amps etc.. I saw one listing from the company NAV-ZEN. There are a few others, T-Harness.com, and LLJ Custom Stereo. Pre-made harnesses, and even made to order custom. Most improvement in my truck was the "A" Pillar tweeters and Dash Corners speakers, that added clarity and stereo separation. Front door 6x9's do have a full range signal, so a Co-Ax would brighten it up as well. My Denali also has tweeters in the top of the rear doors. I replaced those Bose with Kickers, and now I can hear them.
