  1. Thank you! Had no idea they made an aluminum version. It was an easy fix after I figured out how to use the quick disconnect tool.
  2. EDIT: Nevermind found the perfect Youtube vid and I am off to get a quick disconnect tool for my heater hose connector! Thanks anyway I am sure I will have more questions eventually! Hello, I have a 2001 Sierra 1500 w/4.3. Noticed I was slowly losing coolant and I have been able to find a leak on what I believe is the heater hose (could be wrong)...there are two hoses going into and out of the firewall. The one on the right, facing the vehicle, and I think is water flowing back towards the front, has a leak that I THOUGHT was just at the hose/clamp area but now I think it is the plastic connector behind it. I took a picture to help ID. I can twist this piece easily but it doesn't tighten or loosen, so I have a feeling there is perhaps a bad gasket involved? I need help with some info to order this part and/or how to remove. Feel free to enlighten me in any way.
