    Maybe a exhaust manifold leaking that will sound a lot like the noise.. maybe run some atf in the oil then change it. I put 1 quart atf in run it a day or two then change it. Either that or diesel. May have some trash causing a lifter not to pump up..

    I got a 2006 envoy denali 5.3 LH6 dod that holds 40lbs on start up cold drops to zero when hot at 210. Pulled screen on sender. Also got 08 avalanche ly6 6.0 swapped and dod deleted. On start up it shows 40lbs ... when it warms up it drops to around 10lbs both trucks rise with rpm
