    Should have clarified, this is a private mechanic not a dealer. They wont do used engines as they cannot guarantee them.

    Cylinder 1 is shot. I believe it was a spun bearing. Oil was changed on schedule and never showed any warning signs. New engine estimate is $9k. Seeking any help guidance I can get because dropping $9k is not an option.
